We’re focused on driving business transformation, superior customer satisfaction, and revenue growth through innovation and cutting-edge technology that leverages traditional ERP, as well as cloud, analytics, mobile, and social solutions. As a Senior Automation Test Engineer, you will work with other developer and engineering teams in a secure, reliable and adaptive DNS, DHCP, IP Management services environment within Dell Technologies data centers, private and other public clouds to deliver and deploy advanced DDI solutions in a global enterprise environment. You will: Test data migrations, data integration, create Use Cases, Automate Test Suites for Unit, Functional and User Acceptance Testing Work with a global cross-functional engineering team on building test frameworks and test automation suites to qualify core DDI capabilities Take part of test-driven development to support test automation for microservices and UI Evaluate new technologies and approaches to streamline tooling, development Help build a new infrastructure automation platform to support one of the largest online retailers on the planet and drive the innovation and evolution of Dell Technologies DDI platform Consult on network solution and architecture design process development, participate in code reviews and serve as a subject matter expert on software development projects for network automation Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop milestones and deliverables Provide guidance and mentoring for junior engineers Take the first step towards your dream career Every Dell Technologies team member brings something unique to the table. Here’s what we are looking for with this role: Essential Requirements Minimum of 5+ years working with Linux/Unix (open source software) and Docker or similar containerized environments Excellent Ansible and/or Python coding skills; must have experience developing, deploying and testing code at scale to support a global infrastructure platform Ability to validate the results/outputs from our development community Experience with REST API’s and knowledge of it and CI/CD pipelines and Have a passion for new technologies Desirable Requirements Experience with UI automation, web application testing, scripting languages such as Python Experience in NetOps environment, familiarity with Kubernetes and Helm, knowledge of DNS, DHCP, IPAM (DDI) platforms Here’s our story; now tell us yours Dell Technologies helps organizations and individuals build a brighter digital tomorrow.
