Lead PHP Developer (PHP - Laravel - Vue.Js - AWS) - Wakefield/Remote
Salary: up to £50,000 (DOE)

A Wakefield based Digital Agency are searching for an enthusiastic and talented Lead Developer to join their ranks as they continue to grow. They specialise in bespoke CRM systems and SaaS platforms for businesses in the Construction industry but their work doesn't stop there. They also have a long term relationship with many professional Rugby League clubs, working on their ticketing systems.
The Role
You should have some previous experience as a Senior/Lead PHP Developer as well as experience mentoring other developers and/or leading development teams. The role requires you to be actively involved in development of new and existing systems, taking a hands-on approach in projects.
As well as this, you will have the opportunity to contribute to the direction of Development within the company as they have a fairly flat structure where your voice will be heard.
Role Requirements
- 3+ years commercial experience in OOP PHP, specifically with Laravel
- Understand commercial development techniques including robust approaches to testing strategies
- Strong working programming knowledge of PHP, CSS, HTML and JavaScript (Preferably VueJS)
- Good understanding of MySQL databases
- Design and build robust applications
- Experience with third party integrations
- Able to work under pressure and consistently hit deadline
It would also be beneficial if you have any of the following….
- Understanding of CRMs
- Driving license and own car
- Knowledge of AWS or general cloud based servers
