You will work with technical and business teams in maintaining, supporting & enhancing the Oracle E-Business environment. You will help in establishing, testing & maintaining disaster recovery for Oracle E-Business environment.What you'll doInstall, support, & upgrade the Cytiva Oracle E-Business R12.2 environment (EBS, VCP, ASCP) on Linux platforms (OEL and/or RH)Install, support, & upgrade the Oracle tech stack (Database 11g/12c/19c, EBS 12.2, etc.)Setup and configuration of the Oracle Fusion Middleware Products Tech stack-Weblogic,OBIEE11g ,SOA and bolt-on applications like Demantra, APCC, etc.Cloning / Refresh of R12 instances.Patching Oracle E-Business R12.2 and Database (one-off patches, patchsets, CPUs, PSUs)Extensive working knowledge of AD utilities such as adadmin, adpatch, adctrl, adlicmgr, adrelink and admerge.Performance Tuning - Oracle DB & Oracle E-Business R12 ApplicationsR12 System Administration tasks such as creating Applications Users, registering Forms, Menus, Functions, Responsibilities and Concurrent Programs, Creating custom applications and Installing Printers.Maintenance of Oracle Workflow embedded with Oracle E-Business R12 and ability to manage and troubleshoot business flows, setup and configuration of workflow mailer.Using Oracle Applications Manager tool to perform system administrator tasks.Installation and Support of Non-RAC, Single Node RAC and Multi Node RAC environments.General troubleshooting of Oracle E-Business R12 Application issues with Forms / Apache / Concurrent Programs and Concurrent Managers.Working effectively with business users, functional and technical teams to resolve issues.Perform all Oracle Database related daily maintenance tasks.Setup and manage disaster recovery architecture. Ability to react to network outages and address synchronization issues between primary and standby databasesCreate disaster recovery test plans and execute against them periodicallySet up of Database and Applications monitoring using OEM, shell scripts and other monitoring toolsWorking with Oracle Engineered Systems (Exadata, Exalogic) on-premise and also on the Oracle Cloud Infrastructure.Assisting with Internal & External Audit of the SOX and GxP controlled application.Evaluating, Implementing Automation, Version Control, Code Migration tools to enhance productivity of the DBA Team. Automating regular maintenance tasks & striving to aim for self service based framework for various activities.Managing, mentoring & leading contingent staff supporting the Application environment 24x7. Ensuring Key Performance Metrics for the team are met and take corrective actions as needed.Who you are years of experience as Oracle ERP Applications DBA with background in installing, configuring & maintaining Oracle Databases and Oracle Applications. Experience with Oracle Database 12c, 19c and Database Upgrades. Experience with Oracle ERP upgrades (12.1, 12.2)Strong knowledge on E-Business Suite 12.2 as APPS DBA. Good knowledge on Oracle Engineered systems architecture and administration. Good knowledge in UNIX and shell scripting. Complete knowledge of Backup and Recovery using RMAN. Experience with third party tools for Version control, Project Management and Object migration tools like Quest Stat, Kintana, etc.Willingness to learn and support new application modules and technologies. Experience with Cloud technologies (Oracle Cloud Infrastructure).Knowledge of industry best practices, & standard project management tasksAbility to work in a fast-paced, multi-project/team environment.
