Job Description
Seeking a passionate User Experience Designer, hungry for a challenge and the opportunity to support a unique, digital selling platform. Join a growing UX team supporting one of the worlds largest agricultural companies. This position will work within the organization's Commercial IT product line, developing a family of proprietary applications. The ideal candidate will be an advocate for UX, demonstrating the value-add of UX design for internal and 3rd party teams improving and building web and mobile applications under the largest division of IT.
This is a mid-level position that will cover all aspects/phases of the design process, contributing hands-on production work and some strategic high-level perspective. The UX Designer joining this team will partner with a Sr UX Researcher and UX Design Lead to execute tactical and UI work, as well as integrate User Experience processes long-term.
Daily responsibilities will include web and mobile platform design maintenance, components and design guide development, collaboration with the Design Lead as a peer and fellow advocate for User Experience research and design. The ultimate goal is to grow the need for UX specialties across all product lines in Corporate IT and acquire production-focused UX support in an effort to expand the team and their productivity.
A strong designer will demonstrate a desire for creating solutions that are user-friendly, intuitive, and consistent with best practices. This position requires someone who can lead by example, empathize with users, and aid the company in being a market shaping organization.
The basics:
Create best-in-class design solutions and user experiences
Translate ideas into wireframes and mockups that lead to intuitive user experiences
Facilitate product visions by researching, conceiving, wireframing, sketching, prototyping, and mocking up user experiences
Conduct usability testing and analyze user feedback and activity
Design and deliver wireframes, story map, user journeys, and mockups optimized for a wide range of devices and interfaces
Create prototypes which communicate the product vision to executives and clients
Identify design problems and devise elegant solutions
Lead user-centered design approach and rapidly test and iterate designs
Collaborate with teams comprised of developers, business analysts and stakeholders
Provide valuable insight into user interface design best practices
Minimum Requirements
4+ years experience as a User Experience Designer
Professional experience as a UX or UI Designer with a large enterprise OR eCommerce/retail product/selling software

Understanding/experience in Agile environment
