System Analyst REMOTE

Job Description

Insight Global is looking for a System Analyst to work for a Financial Services client in Jacksonville, FL. The System Analyst will provide day-to-day system operation and maintenance support. They will assist in the development of business requirements and system design documentation. Supports the report and dashboard development process. Participates in the implementation and integration of the application.

Provide ongoing system support to stakeholders

Participate in the management of the application governance and change control processes

Participate in the report development lifecycle

Participate in the troubleshooting, reporting and tracking of the eGRC software related issues

Participate in the periodic deployment of configuration updates. Activities may include:

oUnderstanding the results of the system gap analysis

oUnderstanding the business requirements and designs

oEnsuring the application is configured according to stakeholder specifications

oDesigning and configuring the user-defined application workflows

oMapping and loading of existing data to the application

oParticipating in the development of test plans and user testing activities

oAnalyzing stakeholders reporting requirements; developing system generated reports

Minimum Requirements

Must-Haves:

Power BI

Coding in SQL using Java/HTML

Use of ETL tools like SSIS or Pentaho

Experience developing/configuring software & involvement in software implementations

Strong understanding of business processes

Good communication/personality ability to communicate and lead discussions with stakeholders

General requirements gathering and informal documentation

Must be comfortable wearing multiple hats

Strong organizational skills

Desired Skills

Plusses:

Experience with SAP Business Object or WebI

Exposure to Risk

Working experience in the title or mortgage industry
