JOB SUMMARY
Vaco Technology is currently seeking a Full-Stack Software Engineer (MEAN Stack) for a 6M C2H opportunity that is 100% remote-based. The Full-Stack Software Engineer (MEAN Stack) will assist in building large-scale enterprise and web applications. The Full-Stack Software Engineer (MEAN Stack) will service limited legacy technologies while building new software in a MicroServices / Cloud environment.
- Write Code / Assist in the Architecture for Large-Scale Web Applications
- Develop Robust Testing Plans
- Design Data Structures to Meet Application Requirements
- Maintain Legacy SSRS / SSIS / SQL Reporting with the Team
- Participate in Agile Software Development Projects - Design / Code / Test Websites / WebServices to Promptly Deliver High-Quality Services (WebServices May Run on a Node.JS Server OnPrem and/or as MicroServices in the Corporate Core Network or in the Cloud)
- Develop / Code Complex Application Components Based on Detailed Designs Developed from User Stories
- Translate User Stories to Tasks Relating to Process and Data Requirements
- Execution / Performance of Production Support Tasks for Multiple Production Applications
- Participate / Lead Proactive Team Efforts to Achieve Goals
- Demonstrated Ability in Applying Programming / Testing Techniques / Tools - Debugging, etc.
- Functional Design / Architecture Understanding - Application Systems Across Multiple Technologies / Platforms
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Full-Stack Software Engineer (4+ years) - MEAN Stack (MongoDB / Express / Angular / Node.JS)
- Large-Scale Customer-Facing Web Application Development (1+ years)
- Node.JS Server-Side Development (1+ years)
- WebServices - Node.JS Server OnPrem / MicroServices on the Corporate Core Network or in the Cloud
- SQL Server / SSIS / SSRS (1+ years)
- OOP (Object-Oriented Programming) (2+ years) - C# / Java, etc.
- Cloud-Hosted MicroServices Application Development
- SCRUM / Kanban / Agile Development Methodology
PREFERRED (not required)
- FinTech Experience (strongly preferred)
