Lead Accounts Receivable Clerk - Temporarily Remote in Dallas-Fort Worth, TX

Positions in this function prepare and maintain records of accounts receivable, including receipts, claims and overdue invoices. Applies all incoming cash receipts and wire payments to the appropriate general ledger accounts. Computes interest charges, processes refunds and related items. Performs periodic and month-end balancing and reporting activities.

Note: Does not include employees involved in premium billing and collections.

Work Schedule: Monday-Friday and 7am-7pm cst variable. 8 hour shift. Overtime if necessary.

Required Qualifications:

• High School Diploma / GED (or preferably higher)
• 1+ years of experience as a team lead, managing, or supervising 2 or more direct reports in a Customer Service environment
• 1+ years of A/R/Billing management experience
• 2+ years claims, appeals or grievance experience
• 6+ months of experience handling escalated calls
• Ability to work any of our 8-hour shift schedules during our normal business hours of (7:00am - 7:00pm CST). It may be necessary, given the business need, to work occasional overtime
• 4+ years experience with Microsoft Office (Ability to create, copy, edit, send & save documents, spreadsheets, and correspondence using Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel & Microsoft Outlook)

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree
• Coding certification
• Coding experience
