What we're looking for:

You will be responsible for hands-on operations and design of multi-cloud environments! You will maintain, improve, and commissioning infrastructure keeping Citrix IT productive and effective! You are encouraged to take care of issues across a number of technology areas, even when this is outside of your core skillset – making use of SRE methodologies to ensure accurate support of all aspects of the infrastructure. Take lead in developing resilient Continuous Integration and Delivery automation pipelines. This position can be remote anywhere within the United States except for Colorado.

Role Responsibilities

  • Design, implement and maintain cloud services with a keen focus on availability, performance, and reliability
  • Identify and drive improvements to the service and user experience through standardization, automation, and self-service
  • Help to define and drive a multi cloud strategy
  • Build CI/CD pipelines leveraging DevSecOps best practices
  • Implement cloud governance and standards
  • Provide support for high-demand systems for IT local and global teams
  • Member of a triaging team, responsible for prioritizing incoming and open tickets/requests
  • Keep critical local systems available to an agreed schedule which may involve limited weekend and/or out of hours work
  • Monitor system capacity – storage, memory, and CPU
  • Qualifications

  • Requires advanced knowledge of job area obtained through advanced education combined with experience. May have practical knowledge of project management.
  • Requires a University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 5 years of prior relevant experience; or a Master’s degree with 3 years; or a PhD without experience.
  • Preferred Qualifications

  • Hands-on Programming/scripting skills – Knowledge of programming constructs, data structures, and algorithms; Scripting languages/Framework (For example: Python, Ruby, and PowerShell)
  • Hands-on experience with public cloud providers - Microsoft Azure/Amazon AWS/Google Cloud
  • Experience with deploying containerized applications using Docker/Kubernetes
  • Experience building Cloud services and distributed systems – deployment, monitoring, scaling, debugging is desirable
  • Experience with Windows and several Linux distros (Debian, Ubuntu, CentOS, RedHat, etc.)
  • Familiarity with Windows Server administration, roles, and services such as Active Directory, DNS, DHCP
  • Knowledge of server virtualization
  • Experience deploying Infrastructure Automation Platforms (Ansible, Chef, Terraform, etc)
  • Experience with infrastructure as code, source control, and continuous integration tools a plus - Git, Bitbucket, Jenkins, Bamboo
