Job DescriptionPosition DescriptionRealogy is currently looking for a Field IT Director to work out of Texas. The IT Director role is a critical part of the Realogy Technology Service Delivery team that is responsible for onsite technical support to employees and agents throughout the United States. The position is the primary point of contact to the local business in dealing with technology service, continuous improvements and relationship management. This position will be responsible for managing IT resources supporting our businesses located within Texas to ensure that defined service levels are met. This position reports to the Regional Vice President of IT Service Delivery.Essential duties and responsibilities include the following:Manage the metro Service Delivery Field IT staff who are responsible for providing daily operational and device support to employees and agents. This includes field technicians, supervisors, and managers. Recommend appropriate staffing levels to meet the needs of the business. Serve as the key point of contact for IT initiatives to business leadership for the metro. Ensure that service level management best practices exist and are enforced to drive customer satisfaction and efficiencies. Ensure that security standards relating to data and network protection are enforced and maintained.Ensure that established procedures are maintained and adhered to for any IT related work or IT requests in the metro.Lead initiatives to continuously improve information systems and communication with business leaders.Communicate IT Technology Service Delivery (TSD) initiatives and issues to users across the metro. Visit branches as permitted by schedules and priorities to communicate IT Technology Service Delivery (TSD) nitiatives and issues as appropriate.Communicate IT issues, updates and projects to the national help desk, to help them effectively support the user base.Communicate with vendors on IT issues, requirements and projects as appropriate.Ensure proper record keeping is maintained in IT department, and that policies, procedures and standards are well documented.Educate all levels of business management on technology advancements.Manage the relationship between the local metro and the national help desk, ensuring the continuous flow of information and coordination of activities between the two entities.As the custodian of all electronic data, ensure that record retention policies are strictly adhered to.Perform other duties as necessary. Daily/Weekly Activities Meet with managers as required to coordinate department activities, establish and monitor tasks and projects, review personnel issues and monitor goals.Visit branch offices to attend meetings and share technology initiatives. Monthly/Quarterly/Annual Activities Re-forecasting, accruals, and re-class of operating expenses.Re-forecasting of capital budgets.Conduct departmental meetings.Conduct annual performance evaluations for all direct reports, as per Realogy's performance evaluation program.Participate in weekly, monthly, and/or annual staff and conference calls within the region and nationally.Participate in local operating company's leadership meetings. Skills & ExperienceFour-year college degree and/or 5-7 years of equivalent work experience. Equivalent work experience includes IT related project management, technology implementation and IT supervision.An aptitude toward identifying, recommending / selling and applying technology solutions to solve business needs.Experience with leading and supervising a team in a work environment.
