Healthcare Data Warehouse Developer

6 Month renewable contract

Strong SQL, Tableau skills AND Business Objects experience are required for this opening. (Tableau Skills being the most important)

Primary Role
Responsible for performing data analysis and problem solving in a complex healthcare environment. Interact with customers (doctors, nurses, hospital management, investigators etc.) on understanding/defining their information needs and partner with other business and technical staff to meet those needs. Brainstorm with functional teams and recommend optimal way to collect, store, retrieve and analyze the data. Translate business requirements into code and documentation. Develop metadata definitions from the business rules. This person will be heavily involved in selection, manipulation, integration and analysis of data from variety of sources. They also will create SQL and reports as needed to support their projects.

  • Liaise with clinicians to determine requirements for my assigned use cases.
  • Collaborate with DWD peers, biostatisticians, data warehouse modelers, and business intelligence developers to build data marts to solve the issue at hand.
  • The use cases span a variety of opportunities Knowledge of clinical areas of interest and the associated Epic data models expands with each use case.
  • Must be a self-starter with excellent communication skills and a desire for learning new technology,
