The National Security Technology Accelerator (NSTXL), a fast-growing provider of acquisition services to the US Department of Defense, is looking for a Contract Administrator to join our team. NSTXL designs, develops, issues, and manages innovative solutions for the military through Other Transaction (OT) consortia. Through our innovative acquisition approach, we issue clearly defined solicitations through our OTs that garner interest from a broad array of traditional and non-traditional vendors. Our Acquisition/Contract Specialists support our Acquisition Managers and work directly with DoD program and contracting offices, as well as industry, to identify, refine, and clarify requirements; craft and implement acquisition approaches; support the issuance and management of project solicitations; and finalize contracts with selected performers.


Key Responsibilities

The Contract Administrator will support an NSTXL Contract Manager and a team of Specialists while working directly with government clients, consortium members, and our consortium directors throughout all project phases of our prototypes.

  • Conduct a range of data entry functions using cloud-based collaboration tools on a daily basis
  • Coordinate with internal & external stakeholders and schedule engagements
  • Provide administrative & execution support for a geographically dispersed team
  • Manage the organization of business documentation and contract files
  • Perform cursory reviews of written deliverables & briefings
  • Perform data entry process using applicable software applications & program management tools


Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or similar
  • 2+ years of proven work experience as a Contract Administrator, Contract/Data Analyst, Contract Manager or relevant role
  • Ability to gain Secret-level security clearance
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and writing skills
  • Ability to work with varying seniority levels, including staff, managers, external partners
  • Location: Remote in California

Preferred Skills/Experience

  • DAWIA Level I, II, or III certification
  • 1+ years Department of Defense government contracting/acquisition experience
  • Knowledge of legal requirements and protocols involved with defense contracting
  • Familiarity with Air Force and/or space-related programs
  • Experience with 10 U.S.C. 2371b, Other Transactions
