Our client is one of the largest providers of education management software in the UK, they influence the lives of over one million people every day through a range of web and mobile (iOS, Android) products.

Due to continued growth, our client is now looking to recruit a Sales Executive to work in their Cloud business unit to sell product and service propositions to educational establishments and central educational bodies across the UK. The sales team are responsible for both handling reactive sales enquiries and developing business with new and existing accounts at all levels. You will have a portfolio of existing customers and an annual sales target that you will need to plan how to achieve.

You will need effective writing skills in order to communicate clearly and concisely both internally and externally and will be required to fully own and run your territory with regard to building pipeline, monthly forecasting and closing business to target.

Responsibilities:

Proactively seek sales target delivery within the defined territory
Developing strategies to manage your territory responsibilities
Driving and maintaining a healthy and accurate pipeline
Working closely with the field sales executives to develop strategies to manage your territory
Use of internal systems will also be essential, CRM and sales processes ensuring that all opportunities are tracked whilst producing quotations, proposals and information packs where necessary
Ability to analyse a large volume of client and lead data, in order to develop multiple campaign themes at any one time within your territory
Ownership of defined customer territory to work with, with the expectation of conducting full research on market trends and customer history
Ability to work to defined KPI's that are a minimum requirement, i.e. dials, conversations, new leads, pipeline add, and closed deals, which will be measured daily, weekly, and monthly
Exceptional telephone manner with the ability to understand positive buying behaviours
Qualification of opportunities by understanding customer needs, budgets, decision-making unit and authority to make a decision
Use a consultative sales methodology and overcoming competitive sales objections to positively position our services
Working closely with the marketing team to ensure you are aware of the marketing activities calendar to convert Qualifications:

Proven experience in an Educational focused or related field is highly desirable
2-5 years experience in a sales organisation with at least two years of high volume outbound sales/account management experience with proven success to target
Ability to work in a goal-oriented environment under pressure
Ability to adapt communication style to the targeted audience
Strong interpersonal, verbal and communication skills
Experience working with multiple services at any one time
Confident and polished phone prospecting skills required
Outstanding skill in the use of Word, Excel, and various email programs.
Demonstrable organisational skills with the ability to prioritise and multi-task
Charismatic, positive and committed, with a strong work ethic and high levels of energy and honesty
Hungry and motivated outlook with the ability to work on your own initiative
Positively contribute to regular team meetings and coming up with new ideas to achieve sales targets As well as a generous basic salary, you will have the opportunity to earn up to £12,000 in commission. You'll receive 23 day's holiday (rising to 27), a company matched pension scheme and access to a variety of voluntary benefit options.
