*Description* The Business Intelligence Engineer for the National Medicaid Quality and Risk Adjustment Team solves complex business problems and issues using data from internal and external sources to provide insight to decision-makers. The Business Intelligence Engineer works with many other departments in a cross functional atmosphere that supports multiple facets of Humana's Medicaid line of business. The National Medicaid Quality and Risk Adjustment team is committed to advancing the related capabilities across the Medicaid line of business through the development and administration of national programs, cross functional coordination of Quality and Risk Adjustment activities, business development support, new market implementation, and ongoing wrap around market support..*Responsibilities* The Business Intelligence Engineer describes the tools, technologies, applications and practices used to collect, integrate, analyze, and present an organization's raw data in order to create insightful and actionable business information. Understands department, segment, and organizational strategy and operating objectives, including their linkages to related areas. Makes decisions regarding own work methods, occasionally in ambiguous situations, and requires minimal direction and receives guidance where needed. Follows established guidelines/procedures. + Creates analytics associated with risk adjustment + Packages and presents Market specific Medicaid risk adjustment data analytics + Integrates disparate data from multiple sources + Discovers and implements of new market risk adjustment models and sustaining existing markets + Creates reports, builds logic, designs and actualizes new data environments + Visualizes various data in Power BI for market consumption and dashboard generation + Other responsibilities as determined by manager In addition to being a great place to work, Humana also offers industry leading benefits for all employees, starting your FIRST day of employment.
