New Shack Opening Training Manager - Remote

The NSO Training Manager works closely with the Sr. Manager, NSO Strategy, the NSO Specialist, ADs, and GMs to ensure a smooth and effective opening training process. When not at an opening, the NSO Training Manager works to support training on the ground in the Shacks.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan, lead, and evaluate New Shack Opening Training- Responsible for planning, handling admin, leading on the ground, following up, and evaluating NSO training.
  • Leads the team of Opening Trainers and collaborates with the AD and GM to ensure a well-planned, successful, and culturally invigorating NSO.
  • Secures Opening Trainers, TTCs, handles Workday administration, writes the training week schedule, tracks KPIs, and connects with all key stakeholders 4 weeks and 8 weeks post-opening to evaluate wins and opportunities.
  • Ensures that the training budget is adhered to and continually seeks to improve the NSO training process by evaluating its success and determining ways to create new efficiencies.
  • Lead licensed NSOs on the ground as needed.
  • Opening Trainer Staffing and Development- Work with ADs, GMs, and RTPs to continually seek, select, and develop candidates to build and replenish the pool of Opening Trainers, thereby ensuring that we are staffed and prepared to open Shacks in accordance with the needs of the Development schedule.
  • Encourage and ensure the utilization of local trainers wherever possible.
  • Train new OSMs on NSO tasks and on the ground at openings.
    In-Shack Training Support- Support the Shacks as needed by partnering with GMs, RTPs, and TDMs to lead in-Shack training/re-training sessions, calibrations, training process rollouts, and ensure proper execution of STEER.

  • 1+ years of experience attending New Store Openings as an Opening Trainer or OSM
  • Proficient in Microsoft Power Point
  • Available to work weekends as needed
  • Able to travel 75%-85% of the time
