Oscar Product is a growing, fast-paced team using technology and design to revolutionize healthcare. As a Senior Product Manager, you’ll play a key role in helping Oscar solve problems and accelerating your team’s execution. You’ll have the opportunity to work on a range of high impact problems related to how Oscar members receive care, focusing on helping virtual clinicians treat and manage health issues by building an innovative clinical platform.

You’ll join our Care Delivery product team which is focused on building Oscar’s Virtual Primary Care experience. This involves building experiences that provide Oscar members with access to a virtual-first team who can manage their care, including working on building high-quality patient-provider relationships, working through how our clinicians work together, and connecting the dots between virtual and in-person care.

You will report to a Group Product Manager. This is a remote role, you will work remotely in one of the following states: Arizona, California, Connecticut, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, Virginia, or Washington. Note, this list of states is subject to change.

Requirements :

  • Comfortable with complex systems. You know how to analyze and decompose a complex system into its member parts, and how to communicate that complexity simply and cleanly.
  • User-driven. You develop an understanding of how users think and behave and you talk to them. You have a grasp of user experience and are comfortable sketching user flows with your team.
  • A researcher. You can think creatively about how to get the information you need to prove or disprove your hypothesis using user research or data (hard data skills like SQL a plus).
  • Collaborative. You love helping engineers, designers, operations experts, and other teams around you do their best work. You are always driving towards a decision.
  • Experienced. You have worked directly with engineers in product management roles for 4+ years.
  • Responsibilities

  • Defining the business and user goals of a product team focused on helping clinicians understand and improve the health of our members through virtual-first care delivery.
  • Work with engineers, designers and other company partners to create specs and implement features.
  • Make sure your projects are progressing smoothly, while weighing the trade-offs among speed, scale-ability, simplicity, and quality.
  • Produce insights from data and user research to help you identify potential improvements.
  • Coordinate and organize work across multiple perspectives and functions within Oscar.
