Quest Diagnostics Inside Sales Representative is responsible for growing business by prospecting new business, generating leads for the Employer Population Health business, closing new business, and managing a book of business. This role will meet or exceed sales objectives of the assigned territory by promoting and selling a suite of Employer Population Health products and services through a consultative approach that aligns Quest Diagnostics solutions to customer business objectives.
This is a remote position. The person will have nationwide accounts.
Specific responsibilities will include:
- Meet / exceed sales quotas while adhering to Quest Diagnostics sales processes and rules of engagement
- Daily prospecting to drive pipeline growth of new (new clients)
- Expand revenue opportunity within new and existing accounts by selling incremental, follow-on business
- Conduct dynamic and well-informed on-line sales presentations and product demos for potential customers
- Deliver a highly accurate sales forecast, both short- and long-term
- Engage in continually learning about new products, solutions and to improve selling skills; attend training events throughout the year; participate in self-paced tutorial learning when appropriate; use new product knowledge to recommend targeted campaigns throughout the year
- Stay abreast of industry, competition and population health trends and leverage that knowledge to educate and inform clients and prospects on the impacts those trends to their business; leverage this information to target prospecting
- Update Salesforce (and/or other CRM tools) daily with prospecting and client data, with sufficient detail to support effective, timely and and accurate forecasting and reporting
- Participate in sales meetings, marketing webinars, and trade shows on request
- Prepare written presentations and reports and request price quotations
- Renew contracts and upsell solutions to existing book of business
- Manage sales pipeline
- Effectively and efficiently engage Quest resources at appropriate stages in the sales cycle to advance the sale
- Accurately utilize sales tools and technology to ensure accuracy in meeting weekly and monthly metrics
- Collaborate with manager to define and execute territory sales plans
- Foster strong relationships with other employees in Commercial Operations, Marketing, Client Engagement, Event Execution, Finance and Product Management, and other departments to drive a positive client and participant experience
The Candidate:
Required skills/qualifications:
- 1+ years' sales experience in proactive client support roles and/or selling solutions via phone, ideally in healthcare or related industries
- Ability to manage a pipeline of 20+ sales opportunities at any given time
- Effective communication style with strong written and presentation skills
- Proven success prospecting, building a pipeline, moving opportunities through the sales cycle; proposing, discussing solutions with decision-makers
- Ability to craft a solution with appropriate products and services that meets business goals based on client discussions
- Effective personal time management Demonstrated ability building strong, long-lasting relationships with customers
- High energy and a competitive sales drive
- Enthusiastic and a terrific work ethic
- Bachelor's Degree is required
