The Remote Connectivity Sr Manager for Beckman Coulter Diagnostics is responsible for ensuring customer and organizational value resulting from remote instrument connectivity capabilities globally. Gaining, maintaining, and enhancing our current branded PRO Service remote diagnostics and monitoring functions as well as core team participation in new IOT strategic initiatives are at the core of this role.

This position is part of the Global Service Operations group and will be a remote position, ideally near Chaska, MN or Brea, CA.

You will be a part of the Service IOT Team and report to the Global Service Operations Sr. Director responsible for enabling a global, world class customer support organization. In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

  • Participate in defining our IOT and remote connectivity future through global deployment and cross functional core team engagement.
  • Develop programs to enable and deliver additional customer and company value from our current remote diagnostics and monitoring connections.
  • Lead the team charged with monitoring and maintaining existing remote connections to ensure value realization.
  • Ensure team development and execution of processes to gain new remote connections including direct customer communication related to objection handling.
  • Develop and monitor adherence to IOT data compliance policies and governance.
  •   The essential requirements of the job include:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer systems, engineering or related technical field with 14+ years’ experience OR Master’s/Doctoral degree with 12+ years’ experience.
  • 4+ years of people management experience.
  • Field Service and support leadership experience including direct customer facing communication and negotiation experience.
  • At least 3 years of experience and leadership with IT related programs and infrastructure to drive IOT and remote connectivity and monitoring.
  • Design and deployment experience with advanced software capabilities in the IOT space and additional areas such as predictive analytics, artificial intelligence and machine learning in a service and support application.
  • Advanced knowledge in the global privacy and security regulations, landscape and the related implications in the Medical Device industry.
  • Extensive experience and advanced software skills with workflow automation as well as office applications
  • It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

  • Global services team leadership with extensive cross functional IT or system related responsibilities.
  • Successfully guiding deployment and operation of major IT service management tools or systems.
  • Advanced statistical analysis education, training, and experience
