You will work closely with other developers, creative team members, and digital marketing strategists to bring designs to life, creating exceptional e-commerce experiences.You're an expert in front-end development with strong attention to detail. You will help build best-in-class storefronts, implement apps, handle migrations and integrations using modern web development principles. You will help plan, manage and execute client projects from start to finish and ensure projects are completed on-time, within scope, and within budget.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS & RESPONSIBILITIESExpert in Shopify theme development and customizationTranslate requirements and design mockups into fully functioning websites using clean, readable code which may include HTML/CSS/JSBuild out design comps to pixel perfect accuracyBuilding out custom Shopify themes and modifying pre-existing themes depending on the scope of the projectContinuously look for ways to improve code quality and client projectsOngoing website maintenance including functional changes to eCommerce storefrontInspect and troubleshoot bugs and other QA issuesEnsure all projects are completed on-time, within scope, and within budgetDevelop a detailed project plan to track progress. As necessary, meet with clients, internal resources, and third parties to ensure objectives are metAbility to work across multiple projects simultaneouslyStrong understanding of best practices (UI/UX)Ability to integrate third party plug ins and applications into ecommerceQUALIFICATIONSBachelor's degree from in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology or equivalent experience.1-3 Years of experience in Website Development, 1+ years of experience building websites within the Shopify platform.REQUIRED SKILLSExcellent knowledge of modern cross-browser HTML5+, ES6+ and CSS3+Experience building high-quality, responsive layouts and with smooth interactions, transitions and animationsAbility to apply best practice modular web developmentFluency with version controlFluency in interpreting and working with third-party APIsPlease be sure to include a link to your online portfolio or some work you're proud to show off to be considered for the position.Legends is an Equal Opportunity employer.
