About this position

Provides professional support to organizational leadership by executing the full-lifecycle recruitment process (planning, sourcing, screening, hiring and onboarding) to acquire the best talent needed to meet operating and strategic plans. Works with operational leaders, other areas of human resources, and other support areas, such as marketing, to achieve business outcomes in the most efficient and cost effective manner. Measures and evaluates results against target outcomes and suggests changes to strategy, tactics, and process as necessary. Involved in all aspects of the recruitment process, performing them directly or by delegating appropriately to recruitment support staff. This position is eligible to work remotely (must be based in Minnesota or Wisconsin). Interviews for this position will take place virtually via Microsoft Teams.

What we’ll expect from you

• Executes recruitment plans, strategies, tactics, and schedule/timeline based on needs of business operating units.
• Executes recruitment plan by aggressively building a pool of well qualified candidates from a variety of sources; managing the selection process including screening, interviewing, assessing candidates, and making effective recommendations to hiring manager; carries out the hiring and onboarding processes, and appropriately documents activities and results.
• Throughout entire recruitment process, monitors the effectiveness of recruitment plans, strategies, and activities. Suggests changes to strategy, tactics, and process as necessary.
• Assists efforts toward the achievement of recruitment-related initiatives such as internal process improvement projects; development of recruitment marketing materials, career and/or educational path options; cultivation of key relationships with community, academia, industry. Recruiters may assist with assembling a team, developing project plans, conducting research, and collaborating with others within HR and North Memorial and with others outside of the organization.
• Accepts other duties as assigned to promote the accomplishment of organizational goals.
• Demonstrates proficiency for the skills outlined in the appropriate position skills list.
• Maintains skill proficiency, including improvement where deemed necessary, and upgrading any additional or new skills on the appropriate position skills list.
• Understands and follows principles and standards as outlined in North Memorial's Corporate Code of Conduct.
• Protects customer and team member privacy and only accesses customer and/or team member related information as needed to perform job duties.
• Reports violations or areas of concern to supervisor or Corporate Compliance Officer via established methods of communication.
• Recognizes and complies with legal, regulatory, accrediting and procedural requirements related to area of responsibility.

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business or related field required.

Experience, Knowledge, Skills, Abilities 

• Minimum of two years of recruiting experience required.
• Demonstrated customer service orientation and skills including skill in hospitality.
• Strong interpersonal and oral and written communication skills including presentation skills.
• Demonstrated skills in teamwork and collaboration to effectively work with others to achieve business objectives.
• Demonstrated problem solving, critical thinking, and judgment skills to act independently upon information, seek information when lacking, and develop solutions that achieve optimal results.
• Demonstrated analytical skills to evaluate results, identify patterns within data, formulate starting salaries, etc.
• Proficiency in computer technology utilized throughout recruitment process to leverage it to optimize efficiencies and results. Technology includes e-recruitment solution software, Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, and intranet and internet capabilities.
• Knowledge of recruitment techniques and best-practice methods including behaviorally-based interviewing methods.
• Business acumen/competence sufficient to understand key business operations challenges, strategies, and target outcomes and to develop and execute effective recruitment plan within this context.
• Demonstrated knowledge of fundamental human resources functions and principles such as team member/labor relations, benefits, training and development, occupational health, compensation, payroll, and workforce planning.
• Demonstrated knowledge of legal requirements impacting recruitment including the requirements, principles, and components of state and federal affirmative action and EEO legislation.

• Previous healthcare recruitment experience strongly preferred.

Hours per two week pay period: 80
