  • Participate in the design process, offering technical feedback and suggestions to the creative team, and helping us improve the process along the way.
  • Develop front end components in Drupal as pixel-perfect responsive implementations of our creative team’s vision.
  • Implement more interactive and animated elements on the site with JavaScript, SVGs, mp4s, and more.
  • Balance innovation with accessibility and performance, making sure our site provides a great experience for everyone.
  • Drive acquisition, onboarding, monetization, organic/viral growth, and retention across our web properties.
  • Integrate with several other third-party MarTech solutions.
  • Chip in to all of the technical aspects of New Relic's public web properties to improve customer experience and content authoring.
  • Improve the reliability and speed to delivery of new features and iterations via A/B testing and operational insights.
  • Build new microsites and content to drive user and developer growth.
  • Lead and build to the architecture and implementation decisions within the team.
  • Identify blockers and work across teams to resolve issues.
  • Provide insight about tech debt to influence the roadmap.
  • Your Qualifications

    Must-have:

  • Strong expertise in front end development, especially CSS and JavaScript, with 4+ years experience.
  • Willingness to learn Twig templating and some Drupal development (our site is on Drupal 9).
  • Comfortable in a fast-paced environment focused on delivering production code at a regular cadence using Agile techniques, tools and methodologies.
  • Having a collaborative work style that includes colleagues in important decisions and leads to shared code ownership.
  • Nice-to-have:

  • Experience with and/or contributions to open source projects, especially Drupal.
  • Experience working with design systems and/or component driven development workflows.
  • Familiarity working at enterprise scale across several tech stacks and teams.
  • Experience in technical mentorship and support for helping level-up the skills of colleagues on the team.
  • Experience with performance, accessibility and SEO fine tuning.
  • Please note that visa sponsorship is not available for this position.

We're looking for bold and passionate people to be a part of our mission to create more perfect software. We'd love to have you apply, even if you don't feel you meet every single requirement. What's most important to us is finding authentic and accountable people who feel connected to our mission and values, not just candidates who check off all the boxes.
