LexisNexis Risk Solutions is hiring a Healthcare Product Strategist  who will own the strategic vision for critical government platforms and products in the Government Human Service and Healthcare markets. Candidates will be vision-focused and responsible for managing and developing our Healthcare product portfolio including our leading claims investigation suite of solutions, Social Determinants of Health, medical claims solutions, and our public health product strategy. This position requires extensive collaboration with our product management, engineering, and market strategy teams. Strong candidates will have significant healthcare subject matter expertise, conduct build/buy analysis, demonstrate strong quantitative and qualitative analysis skills including information gathering, financial analysis, customer feedback capture, win/loss evaluations, and gathering competitive intelligence. A key customer representative, a candidate in this role will need to actively leverage product, market, and public record experience in order to deeply understand user personas, use cases, and customer needs. Serving as a strategic lead, this individual will frequently lead large initiatives for both our product and business teams. The ideal candidate will possess strong creative thinking and analytical skills, capable of taking diverse and inclusive ideas and turning them into business and market changing products.

Responsibilities:

Customer Focus

  • Defines and articulates a clear product strategy within a specific market or geography and communicates it to others
  • Actively gathers data from multiple sources (customer, market, revenue, etc.) to develop effective solutions to business problems
  • Interacts with customers frequently and understands their use cases and business needs in great depth.
  • Thoroughly understands competitive products and strategy, and how they influence our product strategy.
  • Balances organizational needs with customer needs and creates a strategic product plan for the organization.
  • Anticipates market changes, adapts and adjusts product strategy as needed, including product trends within Government segment.
  • Discerns how value is defined and perceived by each market and develops product strategies to drive that value.
  • Data-Driven Decision-Making & Analysis

  • Drives formulation of overall research/testing strategy and ensures product decisions are based on data.
  • Leads activities to test parts of the product vision and strategy with customers, modifying the strategy as needed.
  • Prioritizes hypothesis-driven product evaluation strategies, including AB testing for interactive products, while contributing to broader data-analyses strategies and platforms.
  • Is skilled in breaking down large complex issues into simpler elements that can be effectively addressed.
  • Establishes aggressive KPIs to measure success, including tracking/analyzing time to market, product usage, and implementation timeframes.
  • Leads teams to make decisions where quantitative data is unavailable.
  • Go to Market & Product Marketing Lifecycle

  • Supports GTM planning and builds implementation plans
  • Tracks platform costs and evaluates ROI for new features and enhancements.
  • Develops appropriate metrics and tracking of launch initiatives and ensures reporting to stakeholders.
  • Develops, measures, and continually improves product implementation / customer integration processes
  • Evangelizes product for sales, customers, and media and supports key sales motions such as proposals and customer sales calls.
  • Owns product and implementation training of PMO, Batch, SUI, and other operational teams.
  • Product Delivery & Development Lifecycle

  • Actively gathers data from multiple sources (customer, market, revenue, etc.) to drive effective solutions to business problems and strategic issues.
  • Oversees the strategy, planning and execution of their identified platform(s).

  • Demonstrates a track record in driving process improvement initiatives that have long-term value to the business and/or the customer.

  • Independent decision-making of product suite investment prioritization: 6+ years
  • Product team leadership experience: 6+ years
  • Government HHS product or strategy experience highly valued; Public Health and Public Administration experience highly valued.
  • Education to Qualify: Graduate level degree, or equivalent coursework and experience, in a relevant domain (computer science, human-technology interaction, public administration, healthcare administration, or human service administration)
