E COMMERCE DATABASE & ANALYTICS MANAGER (REMOTE)

The  (Ecommerce) Database & Analytics Manager  will be responsible for the functions outlined below

Key Responsibilities

  • Responsible for demonstrating commitment to and leadership of environmental health and safety principles, policies and procedures. 
  • Responsible for ecommerce system databases including maintenance and governance. Work with Ecommerce and IT teams to set and maintain data cleanliness standards
  • Responsible for ecommerce system data integrations. Maintain an accurate and up-to-date data map across all relevant systems
  • Partner with Ecommerce and Marketing leadership on quantitative and qualitative research initiatives including working with 3rd party research partners as well as performing in-house research projects
  • Responsible for defining requirements, scoping, developing, deploying and maintaining Ecommerce reporting dashboards that ensure all ecommerce and marketing personnel have access to current and accurate analytics pertaining to their specific job function
  • Responsible for GA & GTM implementation and customization on primary website as well as cross-domain tracking secondary acquisition sites
  • Perform competitive benchmarking, research, analytics using similarweb, semrush, search console, etc to identify risks and opportunities at an industry, product and brand level
  • Partner with Ecommerce Marketing Manager on SEO/SEM optimization initiatives including identifying opportunities for improvement in SERP rankings
  • Contribute to forecasting and modeling initiatives of traffic, demand, conversion and churn
  • Identify and prioritize optimization points in customer purchase funnel, define test hypotheses, design and implementing AB and multivariate testing in order to drive incremental sales and conversion
  • Work with Ecommerce Marketing Manager and Director of Ecommerce to identify and define user segments. Responsible for segmenting users within ecommerce databases. Participate in ideation of segmentation targeting initiatives that drive traffic, conversion and AOV
  • Execute adhoc reporting as requested
  • Identify, scope and integrate new data sources that present actionable opportunities
  • Participates in the company’s efforts to continuously improve in Safety, 6S, Quality, Delivery and Productivity.
  • Expected to be a contributor to the company standards on high integrity, safety, fair and equitable treatment and a positive work environment
  • Other responsibilities as deemed appropriate or necessary by management.

  • Requirements 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing Analysis or related field; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Minimum 3-5 years' experience working with web analytics tools such as, Google Analytics and proficiency with methodologies like online traffic, click stream data, site landing optimization, testing approaches, path analysis, tagging strategy, dash boarding etc. 
  • Highly analytical and quantitative, with strong attention to detail 
  • 3+ years of experience developing integrated data management and analytics environments
  • Must have experience in data analytics and metrics optimization.
  • Experience working with various 3rd party data management platforms in a corporate environment, Google Analytics, CRM and social media analytics tools and the ability to build a fully integrated data collection system for consumer insights and reporting. 
  • Data warehousing management, data modeling and data mining skills 
  • Experience with popular online analytics tools, and machine learning strategies and techniques 
  • Proven eCommerce business analysis experience to help identify trends between offline and online consumer behavior shopping patterns and trends 
  • Experience with database management, running SQL query's and reporting in platforms such as Microsoft BI and similar tools 
  • Experience with Microsoft Office and Excel and presentation software 
  • Possess critical-thinking and problem-solving skills 
  • Should enjoy solving complex technical problems and are able to work independently, while leveraging collaboration opportunities to develop and implement unique functionality required by our brands in order to remain competitive and innovative in their online Direct-To-Consumer business strategies
  • Required to remain current on the latest data analysis innovations and related analytics tools, to improve our customers online shopping and brand experience
  • Highly effective communication skills and the ability to distill complex analytics into actionable and easy digest insights for our brand teams 
  • Strong organizational skills and be able to communicate complex business processes and flows in an easy to understand manner for groups without technical backgrounds or abilities. 
  • Work collaboratively with brand marketing and eCommerce teams to implement marketing campaigns based on consumer insights in order to drive improved revenue and profits
  • Website A/B testing tools (Optimizely, VWO, Google Optimize etc.) 
  • Certified Google Analytics, MCSA: BI Reporting or similar industry accreditation required
  • Possess strong organizational and time management skills 
  • Ability to write technical documentation & interpret business requirements 
  • Real-time problem-solving exercises using Excel or other BI tools. 
  • Previous experience in brand or corporate eCommerce business channel a plus

  • Physical Requirements:  

  • Must be able to lift and carry awkward items weighing up to 50 pounds. 
  • Requires intermittent standing, walking, sitting and bending throughout the work day. 
  • Must be able to work in a manufacturing environment, to include working in and around machinery, exposure to noise and chemicals, lights/lasers, etc. 
  • Must be able to wear appropriate Personal Protection Equipment as required by your position and/or Company policy.
