Associate, Pricing and Portfolio Strategy (Remote)

About the role

We are looking for an Associate, Pricing & Portfolio strategy, you will join the Pricing & Portfolio strategy team - which works with senior leadership to develop pricing decisions for all Oscar products through a unique combination of data analytics and business knowledge.

You will report to the Associate Director, Pricing & Portfolio Strategy. This is a remote / work-from-home role. You must reside in one of the following states: Arizona, California, Connecticut, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, New Jersey, New Mexico, New York, North Carolina, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, Virginia, or Washington. Note, this list of states is subject to change.

Responsibilities

Craft recommendations using a data-driven approach combined with business knowledge for c-suite executives to make pricing decisions that improve our bottom line

Source, organize, and analyze data to support all strategic programs in the team

Create models and tools that produce relevant insights to improve company-wide strategic decisions, including understanding profitability tradeoffs and market trends

Qualifications

BS/BA degree in a quantitative field such as Economics, Mathematics, Statistics and Finance

3+ years experience in consulting, finance, economics, or business development; strategic experience

Demonstrated ability to navigate ambiguity to desire to outcomes, work with large datasets and distill analyses into relevant insights with a structured and systematic thought process

Strong proficiency with Excel (can maintain complex spreadsheets), SQL, R, or Python to manipulate and analyze data

Experience in Healthcare or Insurance industry
