The Senior Corporate Accountant ensures proper accounting for corporate-level activities, including general and administrative (G) expenses, intercompany expenses, project development costs, fixed assets, and inventory and cash activities. This position will be on a hybrid remote work schedule, working three days in office and two days from home. Main accountabilities: Maintain system of intercompany invoicing and payments Maintain accounting records for internal procurement function Maintain parts inventory system Assist with accounting for projects in development Record and analyze corporate financial transactions in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) Record fixed assets and depreciation of EDP and EDPR Corporate Prepare reconciliations to properly support account balances Prepare required consolidating and eliminating journal entries Perform analyses of financial statement variances Maintain chart of accounts Maintain relevant data in SAP system Additional duties as required Direct reports: None Travel: None Minimum qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Accounting 3+ years of relevant experience; public accounting experience preferred CPA Certification Knowledge of Microsoft Office software, particularly Excel; some knowledge of SAP preferred Behavioral requirements: Strong analytical and interpersonal skills Excellent problem-solving ability Strong written and oral communication and presentation skills Ability to multi-task in a dynamic environment Physical demands & working conditions: Sitting/Standing/Flexibility: Ability to stand and sit for 8 or more hours when in an office environment Speech/Reading: Ability to speak, read, and write English proficiently and deliver a variety of instructions furnished in written, verbal, diagram, or schedule form Lifting: Ability to lift items weighing up to 10 pounds Vision/Hearing: Ability to understand a variety of instructions furnished in written, verbal, diagram, or schedule form Safety: Ability to understand and communicate safety precautions when necessary
