Our client has a new opportunity for an Integration Delivery Manager who will manage technical M&A integration projects, supporting the integration of business systems for acquired firms. The Integration Delivery Manager oversees all aspects of a small number of M&A Technology integration projects and ensures on-time and in-scope delivery, creating technical estimates, work plans, schedule of deliverables for a portfolio of projects. The Integration Delivery Manager closely monitors progress and assembles a cross-functional team based on project needs and available capacity. They can also manage schedule and staffing for both internal and external resources, and work with vendor deliverables. Additionally, the role identifies and gathers pertinent information and requirements, considering alternatives, and making timely and accurate recommendations.

Responsibilities:
  • Business stakeholders and the technical team to document and design business and technical solutions for integration projects
  • Manage and oversee a portfolio of technical / IT integration projects across systems and infrastructure deliverables, managing multiple concurrent projects with shared resources
  • Follow project management methodology to initiate, plan, execute, control, and closeout technical integration projects utilizing project management concepts and tools
  • Identify requirements and communicates them using specifications, reports, project plans, or other forms of documentation, translating business requirements into solution delivery specifications for the M&A technical team
  • Attends external-facing meetings to gather requirements from acquired firms and translate those requirements into requirements specification documents
  • Review documentation to formulate recommendations and identify solutions and options based on analysis
  • Facilitate continuous improvement of M&A Integration processes and deliverables aligned with performance excellence initiatives
  • Actively seek and recognize opportunities to change processes or behaviors to create more value for HUB through integration process improvements, or technology changes

Education and Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Business Administration or related field, or equivalent work experience
  • 4 to 7+ years of experience in Application / Solutions Delivery, Systems Support, Operations Support, or IT
  • Four years of job-related business systems analysis
  • Experience in project management as it relates to technical projects
  • Experience in one or more of the following insurance lines is preferred: P&C, Employee Benefits, Specialty Retail, Retirement and Private Wealth, 401k Pension Benefits, or MGA / MGU / Wholesale
  • Experience with insurance brokerage is a plus
  • Experience working in a fast-paced M&A technical / systems integration environment
  • Prior experience in business systems implementation, application integration, or infrastructure conversion projects is a plus

Knowledge and Skills:
  • Can manage scope, schedule, and internal and external staffing resources for M&A technical integration projects from conception through delivery
  • Can drive multiple concurrent integration project schedules, prioritizing tasks, reporting on critical gaps, and assess and mitigate risks
  • Can prepare and interpret flowcharts, schedules, and step-by-step action plans by applying solid organizational, multitasking, and time-management skills
  • Can embed project management performance metrics to projects to measure timeliness and quality of delivery
  • Comprehensive knowledge of project management, able to remove obstacles
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, analytical and facilitation skills
  • Detail-oriented with strong documentation skills
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams, including working directly with business stakeholders, throughout the entire integration process
  • Strong working knowledge of workflow engines, time tracking and resource allocation systems
