The role

You will be part of a team building a world-class ecosystem of partners who are highly strategic to the company's long-term goals. You'll work with Cloud vendors (Google Cloud, Microsoft, AWS) and our mutual partners to drive the business for StreamSets' offerings by being great at devising Go-to-market strategies and driving effective co-sell motions between the partner and StreamSets customer-facing teams. We are looking for a self-driven, intelligent, and results-oriented person with good analytical skills who can guide StreamSets towards right partnerships to invest and amplify market reach.

Responsibilities

  • Manage key partner relationships in the Cloud market such as Microsoft, Google, and AWS.
  • Plan and execute business development strategy, policies, objectives, and initiatives to achieve revenue, profit, and growth targets
  • Own the strategy and its execution for establishing and building effective field-level relationships with Cloud vendors' sales organizations
  • Own the co-sell program for Microsoft and AWS, driving customer wins, and owning the delivery of joint revenue targets.
  • Deliver sales enablement to ensure the success of StreamSets offerings on Cloud platforms including Microsoft Azure, Amazon AWS, and Google Cloud.
  • Driving participation in customer case studies, webinars, and other outbound communications.
  • Collaborating with teams at StreamSets including marketing, support, sales, consulting, and others as needed to support the StreamSets success through Cloud partnerships.
  • Aid the sales organization in working Cloud-related opportunities
  • Represent StreamSets at industry events such as trade shows and meetups.
The Skills

Requirements
  • Able to create strategic relationships with cloud partners while managing tactical, day to day items.
  • Familiar with Cloud technology, market and engagement opportunities
  • An excellent communicator, able to manage asymmetrical relationships
  • Technically competent to discuss joint technical initiatives with the partners and the StreamSets product teams
The Experience
  • 5-8 years' experience in partner sales, partner marketing or business development for enterprise software companies.
  • Proven success at new business development with the focus on driving partner relationships, resulting in the acquisition of new customer logos and material revenue focused engagements.
  • Prior experience managing sales/partnerships with companies like Microsoft, or Amazon
  • Ability to prioritize initiatives to maximize the value of the partnership.
