Job Description Summary

The Manager- Cyber Security Engineer (REMOTE) will serve as a technical leader and focal point for security and privacy on the product team in order to help drive cyber risk reduction in fast growing GE Healthcare business environments to ensure protection of GE Healthcare and GE Customer information and resources

Roles and Responsibilities

In this role, you will:
• Provide technical and process expertise for Security & Privacy and drive awareness within the team
• Responsible for the creation of security artifacts, including threat model(s), DEPS catalog, PIA, SRC, list of dependencies, customer facing security documentation, etc. Responsibility for creating and maintaining each of these can be delegated to other members of the team
• Keep product information in GEHC tools up to date. Create and maintain eSG records for all products
• Plan, prioritize, and drive closure of security work items across the team and product(s)
• Together with the assigned Product Security Leader (also referred to as the Security Advisor”), perform analysis of residual risk (including the potential impact of unmitigated or partially mitigated threats)
• Plan operational security controls implementation and product deployment activities with relevant teams 
• Stay current on security and privacy trends affecting product (generally guided by assigned Product Security Leader); participate in broader GEHC Security/Privacy community
• Respond to information and investigation requests (RFI) and customer security questionnaires (with assistance from Product Management and the assigned Product Security Leader)
• Planning security testing activities, such as AVA and Penetration Tests. Work with assigned Product Security Leader to request budget in support of these activities

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or STEM” Majors (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math)

minimum years of 6 years experience

• Experience leading diverse technical teams towards delivery of an enterprise technology solution
• Understanding of public cloud offerings and associated technologies (AWS, Azure, S3, EC2)
• Information security background or experience with detailed understanding of APT, Cyber Crime and associated tactics.
• Familiarity with common programming languages and techniques (SQL, Java, PHP, C, Python)
• Knowledgeable about the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) and its real-world applications

• PMP, ScrumMaster or related Project Management certifications
• Proficiency with MS Office suite of products such as Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
• Experience working on agile teams leveraging Scrum, Kanban, etc
• Strong oral and written communication skills
