Pride Health is searching for a Remote Epic Application Specialist to join our client's Epic team that virtually supports a robust healthcare system in Charlotte, NC.

This is a permanent, remote Epic Specialist opportunity that requires Epic OpTime or Anaesthesia certification.

Schedule: 40 hours a week (Remote)

Responsibilities

  • Designs, codes, tests, debugs and updates for Epic system applications.
  • Coordinates with clients and peers to enhance system functionality while understanding the possible ramifications to the client's business processes and Information Services. Ensures client requests are properly evaluated and responded to in a timely manner.
  • Demonstrates knowledge of applications and their integration (interface) with and effect on other systems.
  • Leads projects in one or more aspects of the information systems lifecycle (product selection, business requirement definition, communication, implementation, issue resolution, production support).
  • Develop workplans, estimates tasks, and properly records time tracking for one's self and possibly other team members

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Certification required in Epic OpTime or Anesthesia is required.
  • Experience with Epic Cogito, interfaces, and other technical build is a plus.
  • Multiple-site Epic EMR implementation experience is preferred.
