Who We Are
The Global Privacy Office (GPO) has primary responsibility for all global privacy operations, including regular reporting to the General Counsel. The GPO is accountable for developing and maintaining a formal privacy strategy and program. We regularly advise on privacy matters, create policy, guidelines and training, oversee activities such as website compliance, data mapping, assessments and honoring individual rights.

You're agile and adaptable but work with precision to ensure we deliver top-notch customer experiences, always. You will play an instrumental role in operationalizing privacy requirements for the Global Tools & Storage businesses. You'll actively engage with business stakeholders to ensure compliance with regards to all data privacy domains
You also have:

  • Ability to synthesize regulations and guidance and translate into practical operational guidance
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; English language proficiency critical
  • Proficient in developing work standards including policy, training and guidance that are audience appropriate
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively
  • Perseverance and agility to work in rapidly changing environment
  • CIPP certification strongly preferred, CIPP/A a plus
  • Experience with privacy laws and best practices in emerging markets (Latin America/Asia)
  • 5 years of proven work experience in data protection; legal background preferred
  • Experience in cyber security or application development a plus
  • Experience with OneTrust a plus
What You'll Do
As a Data Privacy Manager for GTS,you'll be part of our Global Data Privacy Office located remotely.Specifically, you'll:
  • Directly report to Global Tools & Storage Data Privacy Leader
  • Engage with business stakeholders to identify processing activities and mitigate related risks for existing and new products, technologies, and features
  • Educate cross-functional teams on privacy requirements, programmatic support and allocation of responsibilities
  • Provide advice and facilitate completion of deliverables relating to new processing activities, including records of processing activities and privacy assessments
  • Support go-to-market activities including advising on necessary notices and contractual terms
  • Create and provide continued education and training to increase data privacy knowledge in the business
  • Promote and encourage a culture of data privacy across the organization via privacy network and communications
  • Act as Subject Matter Expert, providing prompt, reliable advice to colleagues as necessary
  • Continuously monitor privacy regulations, guidance and enforcements to ensure appropriate prioritization
  • Work closely with others in the Global Privacy Office to ensure processes and procedures provide adequate proof of compliance; accomplish this through technology enablement where practical
