Learn more at careers.alight.com .**Vice President Content and Brand Experience**The VP of Content and Brand Experience is responsible for the management and development of the corporate brand as well as any related product portfolio brands. Serving also as the owner of the content, creative and event strategies for the company, this role owns brand strategy, brand advertising, content strategy, event management, integrated media and creative (writing and design) in house and agency relationships. Success in this role depends on the ability to translate business objectives into appealing brand narratives for target audiences. This role also works across business units, roles and regions, facilitating brand, content, and creative alignment and efficiency through a centralized, consolidated and coordinated strategy. This leader also plays a critical role that supports content success and event success across business units, roles and regions.**Job responsibilities**+ Develop and maintain a comprehensive brand strategy to guide strategic decisions involving the brand (including representation of the brand in all online and offline settings)+ Maintain a referenceable, organization-wide set of brand guidelines that are simple enough to be followed, but thorough enough to encompass all required use cases+ Build a rules-based approach to introduce and/or integrate new brands+ Act as a strategic advisor and/or lead in the event of a merger, acquisition or new product brand introduction+ Implement an efficient brand governance process and workflows that facilitate the function as a shared-service resource rather than a bottleneck+ Create and manage content strategy best practices that facilitates content alignment and efficiency through a centralized, consolidated and coordinated methodology for content lifecycle / full funnel content management+ Manage an event strategy that amplifies the brand using a combination of trade show, webinar, and curated events+ Create comprehensive, enterprise-wide visibility for the strategy, people, processes, technology and measurement that contribute to improved content lifecycle management+ Manage internal creative (writing and design) center of excellence as well as agency relationships**Required experience and qualifications**+ All the qualities of a successful leader in a dynamic, highly matrixed organization: exceptional collaborator, communicator, and manager; results-oriented from a foundation of best practice process; a proactive planner, navigator of competing priorities, and responsive problem solver; skill with numbers (evaluating analytics, managing budgets); and the ability to be a flexible leader, confident in their domain.+ 10 or more years in a B-2-B-2-C brand marketing or advertising.+ Five or more years in copy and creative direction and at least 3-5 years in leadership / management roles.+ Proven experience leading change and building consensus in a highly matrixed, global, organizational structure.+ Has built, implemented, and governed global brand guidelines and global content strategy.+ Developed and executed a digital-first, enterprise-wide, global content management strategy.+ Previous integration of brands in a merger, acquisition or new-product growth scenario.+ Developed best practices in brand integration, brand hierarchy, internal marketing, standards implementation and management, competitive positioning.+ Budget/resource management strongly desirable.+ Managed agency relationships and internal creative and content resources.By applying for a position with Alight, you understand that, should you be made an offer, it will be contingent on your undergoing and successfully completing a background check consistent with Alight's employment policies.
