Working for a company in the Family is about more than just a job - it's about having the opportunity to become the best version of yourself.Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's degree in computer science, a related field or equivalent experiencePreferred Qualifications 3 years of experience with quality assurance, testing methodologies and analyzing application failures/defects3 years of experience with web-based applications3 years of experience in automated testing and automated testing tools3 years of experience with commonly used object-oriented programming languagesProficiency in the Microsoft Office suiteUnderstanding of the Software Development LifecycleJob SummaryThe Software QA Engineer monitors and improves the quality of applications and services by exercising systems and championing others to do the same.ResponsibilitiesReview functional and design specifications to ensure full understanding of features and stories of an application or serviceCreate automated test scripts across multiple automation frameworksProvide input that results in clearly defined requirements and testable acceptance criteriaDevelop, document and maintain test cases and other test artifacts for various types of testingIdentify test requirements from stories and design a test coverage plan that ensures deliverables and client's acceptance criteria are metFacilitate test plan and case reviews with cross-functional team membersFind, isolate, replicate and report defectsVerify defect/issue resolutionsPerform functional, regression, integration, back-end, compliance and web-services testing as needed for applications or servicesIdentify improvement and automation opportunities and implement accordinglyParticipate in production emergency bug fixesUnderstand and observe how products are being used by clients to determine if any enhancements or bug fixes are necessaryKeep current with company quality standardsDevelop, enhance and implement automation test strategies, requirements, planning and proceduresSupport and manage test case repositoriesSupport and manage bug tracking toolingCollaborate with the team to understand and validate configuration settings to ensure optimal product performance, scalability and availability for production environmentsAssist in post-implementation and continual improvement efforts to enhance systems and applicationsDisclaimerThis is an outline of the primary responsibilities of this position.
