Job Description:
The Senior Financial Analyst will be a key component of a Multi-Billion Dollar Corporate Finance team. This position will be primarily responsible for budgeting, forecasting, consolidations and divisional financial statements. Position also assists in financial reporting, SEC reporting, and various other accounting processes and analyses.
Responsibilities:
• Review, analyze and complete forecasts and budgets across multiple divisions to identify trends and explain variances
• Collaborate with accounting locations to ensure alignment and continuous improvement of the financial close process
• Key component to monthly, quarterly, and annual accounting close and consolidation at corporate
• Complete accounting and system guidance to locations to ensure financial statements are materially accurate
• Review of divisional financial statements and complete various balance sheet analysis with focus on inventory and management reserves
• Reconcile intercompany receivables & payables
• Prepare and review information used for external reporting and support SEC filings
• Perform various internal management reports, ad hoc projects, and responsibilities
Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree (CPA preferred)
• 3+ years of experience in accounting
• Strong accounting & US GAAP knowledge required
• Experience with Sarbanes Oxley and internal control concepts
• Manufacturing experience preferred
• Proficient in excel
