Ideally a candidate will live in the Central or East Coast time zones.Job Summary Reporting directly to the Vice-President of Communications and Corporate Relations and indirectly to the CFO, the Director of Investor Relations is responsible for crafting, articulating and executing Harley Davidson's investor relations strategy. This role will be responsible for investor targeting, messaging, and outreach and will provide investor/market intelligence and strategy recommendations to our executive leadership team and Board of Directors. Critical to success will be developing and maintaining positive relationships across internal and external stakeholders, including existing and potential investors, as well as the sell side research community. Job Responsibilities• Develop and execute approach to identifying, targeting, and cultivating relationships with new investors; actively work to shift investor base to align with updated Hardwire Strategic Plan.• Actively communicate and champion H-D's strategy across the investor community; proactively anticipate and drive key investor messages based on Harley-Davidson's business strategy, performance and competitive dynamics.• Ensure Executive Team and Board of Directors are updated on investor and analyst perceptions of the company; recommend and implement any necessary course corrections in messaging or relationship management.• Monitor HOG's stock performance against market, industry and peers and communicate key insights on price movements to stakeholders.• Work closely with key leaders on public responses to issues impacting the company's financial performance. Anticipate market reactions to possible disclosures and advise accordingly.• Lead the creation of all company quarterly earnings call materials, Q documents, annual report packages and analyst day presentations.• Plan and execute investor conferences, virtual and/or live road shows, analyst days/meetings, and annual shareholder meeting.• Lead the company's spring and fall proxy/ESG-focused investor outreach efforts, ensuring proper cross-functional involvement and proper support materials.• Manage and coordinate with all appropriate third-party vendors and tools responsible for assisting Harley-Davidson's investor relation efforts, including but not limited to transfer agents, stock exchanges, IR website, stock surveillance, conference calls, etc.Education Requirements Bachelor's Degree Required, preferably Business Administration, Accounting, Finance and/or Communications. Master's degree preferred.Experience Requirements• Typically requires a minimum of 10 years of related experience with a minimum of 5 years of investor relations or related investment community experience.• Excellent oral communication, written communication and presentation skills and an ability to collaborate and influence at all levels of an organization.• A finance leader with strong quantitative and analytical problem-solving skills. Proficiency with financial modeling and valuation models is preferred.• Experience building relationships of trust and confidence with senior executive leaders and serving as a trusted adviser to a leadership team. Must be comfortable providing actionable feedback to senior executives.• Ability to break down complex ideas and issues and communicate in simple terms to the investment community as well as internally.• Proven credibility with the investment community and a record of building strong relationships with investors and analysts.• Experience crafting investor communications, including scripts, Q documents, press releases and PowerPoint presentations.• Ability to handle multiple priorities with a high degree of flexibility and accountability, in a constantly fast-evolving environment.• Familiarity with disclosure rules, earnings process, Regulation FD, and SEC filings, e.g. 10-Qs and 10-Ks.We offer an inclusive compensation package for all full-time salaried employees including, but not limited to, annual bonus programs, health insurance benefits, a 401k program, onsite fitness centers and employee stores, employee discounts on products and accessories, and more.
