The Role
The Amazon Web Services (AWS) Partner Development & Demand Specialist will be a critical addition to the Splunk AWS Partnership Team. In this newly created role, you will focus on demand generation activities including prospecting, identifying, tracking, registering and reporting on Splunk - AWS sourced opportunities. You will also work closely with the AWS team and be a core member of our global strategy team.
Responsibilities:
You will partner closely with AWS sellers to execute multi-modal, targeted campaigns and identify new customer opportunities. Once engaged with a customer or prospect, you will successfully understand customer business issues by using excellent listening and communication skills, demonstrate how these issues can be solved and the unique benefits of solving them with Splunk Cloud. As a member of the global alliance team, you will provide regular feedback and suggestions on ways to scale and evolve programs, processes and campaigns to drive greater revenue and marketing leads/pipeline generation.
