We’re looking for two ROCKSTAR copywriters! This fully remote position is a member of the 18-person copywriting/video team and part of a dedicated three-person concept copywriting team that collaborates with design to create campaigns.

Specific job duties include:

  • Acts as a digital content subject matter expert to help team produce the best work possible, including staying on top of emerging social media, video and digital trends and best practices, ensuring our work is on-trend and innovative, and helping teach coworkers about the changing digital landscape

  • Proactively generates ideas for creative marketing opportunities that The Studio can pitch to internal clients, which are on-brand and will help them reach their strategic goals

  • Collaborates with designers, video producers, project managers to create compelling marketing campaigns that will drive results – brainstorming concepts, determine copy strategy, presenting work to clients

  • Translates creative briefs into compelling copy that adheres to best practices and aligns with brand strategy and goals

  • Writes highly creative, succinct and engaging marketing copy for social media (organic, paid, video), consumer ads, HTML eBlasts, marketing flyers, websites, landing pages, video scripts, presentations, brochures, event promotional materials, office posters, blog posts, editorial features and more

  • Collaborates with others to plan and execute A/B testing (such as testing subject lines for recruiting eBlasts and social media ad copy) to determine best practices and uses results to inform future projects

  • Writes in a variety of styles and for varying audiences and medium, knowing how to speak to specific audiences, understanding what they care about and finding ways to connect their pain points with client value proposition

  • Maintains strong understanding of company programs, tools, technology, resources and statistics to ensure accuracy and clearly convey the benefits and features to key audiences. 

  • Reviews and edits copy for grammar, style and accuracy including copywriter’s own copy, copy written by others, and existing materials that are routing for updates or revisions.

  • Ensures all copy adheres to AP Stylebook, internal style guide and company legal rules and appropriate disclaimers are used

  • Creative Writer – Excellent storytelling skills with a knack for writing in a human, approachable manner and shifting voices to different audiences

  • Detail-Oriented – Highly detail-oriented and meticulous proofreader who learns from mistakes, consistently follows AP Stylebook and internal style guide, and produces error-free copy

  • Multi-Tasker – Organized, have solid time management skills with a strong sense of urgency, able to juggle multiple ongoing projects while moving them all forward and meeting daily deadlines, and able to manage own workload without constant supervision and direction

  • Thick-Skinned – Able to take feedback on your writing and pivot or revise as necessary


  • Candidates for the position must have:

  • Degree in communications, advertising, marketing, creative writing, English or journalism (or commensurate experience)

  • 5 years of experience focused heavily on writing marketing copy; agency and real estate experience a plus
