    What You'll Do:


    The National Admissions Advisor supports the enrollment efforts of Arizona College by providing admissions information to prospective or newly admitted students and creating communication materials. This position represents the College to prospective and newly admitted students through numerous interactions, both face-to-face and virtually. This role is 100% remote, however, will require approximately 20% travel to campuses located in, but not limited to, Arizona, California, Florida, Michigan, Nevada, Texas, Utah, and/or Virginia.


    The Day-to-Day:


  • Communicates with prospective students, parents, and the community through appointments, phone calls, emails and other materials
  • Coordinates with the appropriate campus leadership to welcome prospective students to campus
  • Processes paperwork; interviews applicants; arranges and conducts campus tours
  • Conducts follow-up activities to prospective and new students such as emails, text and phone-calling campaigns
  • Maintains recruiting operations by following policies and procedures; reporting needed changes
  • Adheres to all compliance and regulatory standards
  • Maintain and develop professional interaction with a wide range of individuals and VIPs both internal and external
  • Advises students and families regarding educational opportunities and options, admission and other requirements, policies and procedures as appropriate
  • Assists each lead and/or inquiry to our college in an honest, caring and thorough manner
  • Conducts effective phone presentations and interviews with each candidate
  • Increases percentage of enrollments and starts from leads through training, experience and diligence of prospective student follow-up with the prospect through correspondence and routine phone conversations to provide assistance in completion of the enrollment process
  • Works cooperatively to provide appropriate data for purposes of reporting, institutional research, and institutional effectiveness
  • Works to maintain the integrity of the student database (admissions to permanent records) in order to ensure complete accuracy for local records, as well as state, and federal reporting
  • Regular and reliable attendance and punctuality is essential due to the considerable amount of interaction this position has with prospective and/or newly admitted students

  • High School Diploma or equivalent (Associates Degree from an accredited college or university preferred)
  • 1 to 3 years experience in admissions, retail sales, consumer marketing or personnel recruitment
  • Displays a positive attitude towards internal and external customers in all situations
  • High degree of professionalism and discretion dealing with confidential information
  • Must be organized, professional, and warm to our potential and current students
  • Exceptional ability to organize, prioritize and multi-task in an extremely dynamic environment
  • Flexible and structured in their approach to supporting multiples campuses and / or programs simultaneously or in sequence
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to work effectively with a wide range of individuals in a diverse community
  • Organizing and coordinating skills
  • Knowledge of college admissions procedures and of student recruitment and retention issues
  • Skill in the use of computerized systems and databases
  • Ability to develop, plan, and implement short- and long-range goals
  • Demonstrate knowledge and skills in the use of integrated software systems and Microsoft Office applications
  • Demonstrate skills in establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with students, staff, faculty, and the public
  • Demonstrate skills in facilitating and modeling a quality customer service orientation
  • Ability to work effectively within an ethnic, cultural and socially diverse student population
  • Demonstrated excellent written and verbal communication skills; demonstrated strong interpersonal skills
  • Strong customer service orientation and ability to work with a committee or a team
  • Ability to think "outside the box" and to lead and manage change, as well as the recruiting and admissions processes of the College
  • Nationwide travel up to 20% of the time
