The Recruiter is responsible for developing and leading comprehensive strategies for marketing American Homes 4 Rent brand and addressing the unique staffing challenges of the company. This position leads candidates seamlessly through the end to end interview process: telling our story, setting expectations, providing feedback and collaborating with hiring managers. The differentiation between a Recruiter and a Senior Recruiter is based on what type of positions the person is recruiting. Responsibilities - + Manages a requisition workload of 20-50 positions at any given time with end to end recruitment + Conducts proactive sourcing, interviewing and hiring of qualified candidates + Responsible for posting jobs; networks and sources across multiple candidate development channels + Interviews candidates both on the phone and in person; advises hiring managers throughout the selection process + Partners with the Talent Acquisition team, multiple stakeholders in the Human Resources department and hiring managers to lead a positive end to end candidate experience + Implements creative recruiting strategies to create a qualified and diverse candidate pool + Builds applicant sources by researching and contacting community services, colleges, employment agencies, recruiters, media, and internet sites + Provides organization information, opportunities, and benefits; makes presentations; maintains rapport + Obtains applications, bringing forth concerns related to information provided; uploads applications as required within online ATS + Identifies opportunities to increase productivity and efficiency by adopting standards using tools and processes that accelerate the speed and effectiveness of our recruiting team Requirements - + Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business or a related field required + Minimum of four (4) years of recruiting experience required + Minimum of four (4) years of experience using applicant tracking systems (SilkRoad, Taleo, Jobvite, iCIMS, Workable etc.) required + Minimum of three (3) years of talent sourcing experience using advanced proactive outreach, candidate mining, cold calling, third party resume banks, competitor mapping, Boolean searches, social media (LinkedIn), blogs, alumni groups, conference attendee lists etc. required + Must have a valid driver's license + Knowledge of state and federal employment laws relating to key areas of responsibility + Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook) and SilkRoad preferred + Seven (7) years of recruiting experience preferred Work where you feel right at home - If you are a versatile professional who values culture, a constructive environment and the potential for exponential growth, we want to work with you!
