Amazon Web Services (AWS) Solution DeveloperThis role will work collaboratively with the Client Solution Architect, and other Client resources, to develop and implement the Colorado Department of Labors CUBS data archive that will be hosted and operated in the Client AWS cloud infrastructure.The CUBS data archive will maintain all existing relational data in the Oracle 12c database, as well as any relational tables not converted, VSAM files stored in their native format, flat files, and reports. The archive will be a secure, web based application, used by state users for unemployment insurance case research, data analysis, data extraction and limited reporting. The data archive will consist of static content.This position is for a developer, not an AWS DevOps engineer or AWS Administrator.The ideal Developer candidate must have the following experience:
  • 5 years of success developing and implementation of customer facing AWS web solutions.
  • 5 years of experience in Ruby, Python, Java programming, or C# and the ability to deliver high quality code in that language.
  • This position will work with the Solution Architect and the Client cloud team to develop the solution while ensuing alignment with best practices for AWS services.
  • Preferred: Experience in developing Lambda functions preferred.Preferred: Experience with the AWS services such asAWS Cloud FrontAWS QuicksightAWS Glacier
