Position Summary
Our Workday Product Leads are experienced technology professionals responsible for the full product lifecycle to empower our business through partnership, product strategy, solution delivery, and support. We are currently hiring for Leads in Financial Management (FIN), Reporting, Professional Services Automation (PSA), and Human Capital Management (HCM). Huron is currently live on all of these Workday products. Our Product Team partners closely with our Strategy Team to identify challenges and opportunities to drive efficiencies and create real outcomes from our business. The Product Portfolios, focus primarily on Workday but also contain integrations, bots, and other complementary solutions.
Product Lead Key Responsibilities:
Product Influence
Participate in local & area-specific User Groups
Demonstrate leadership & presence in WD through speaking, writing, or other knowledge/experience sharing opportunities at WD events, in user groups, with current and prospective clients and in WD Community.
Product Expertise
Provide Technical Leadership & Consultation to identify creative solutions by leveraging advanced knowledge of Workday
Lead & Direct Projects Independently, balancing prioritization, sequencing, and alignment across multiple projects and with a high degree of autonomy
Collaborate with other Product Specialists & Product Owners to ensure robust solutions
Anticipate & Plan for Innovation & Change – understand Product Roadmap and its alignment to the overall Strategy Roadmap and Business Objectives, establish Quarterly Roadmaps based on Strategy & Business Needs as input to the Overarching Product Roadmap
Provide Subject Matter Expertise - share Information on Product features and capabilities current and planned, collaborate with Product Owner in Journey Mapping, Ideation Workshops and other relevant exercises driven by the Strategy Partner
Driving Value
Establish & Deliver on High Levels of Customer Service - adhere to established SLAs, focus on positive Customer interactions, demonstrated through positive feedback
Understand & Influence Impact – work with Product Owners to understand impact of planned work and recommend potential value drivers and how best to improve end user experience

Risk Mitigation – raise risks & issues timely, recommend solutions
Capacity Planning – ensure providing appropriate levels of support based on capacity, raising opportunities for additional work or modified priorities to maximize velocity and impact
Be Bold & Brave – be fast to fail, demonstrating progress ahead of perfection, be agile & quick to iterate, always focused on how to create value for the business
Earn & Foster Trust – demonstrate positive partnership with business focused on active listening, consider all solutions and make recommendations even when system limitations exist, partner with the Product Owner on effective messaging

Agile Evangelism
Adopt Agile Principles & Methodology – be knowledgeable and follow Agile processes
Host Demo Days & Sprint Reviews – meet with key stakeholders to create transparent plans and showcase relevant changes to experience & prioritized capabilities in partnership with the Product Owners
Coordinate Sprint Engagement – working with Operations Manager, coordinate business engagement with requirements & testing

2+ years of functional area experience preferred
Workday experience, Certification a plus
