OverviewResponsibilities: Participate in and/or lead development of Informatica ClientM/ClientQ platform Infrastructure architecture requirements. Monitor and coordinate all Informatica ClientM/BDQ system operations and act as a liaison with Infrastructure, Security, DevOps, Data delivery teams. Ensure that necessary system backups are performed and responsible for necessary software installations, upgrades, and patch management. Participate in and/or lead incident, problem, change, and service request related activities. Provide incident and problem management support for all business operations. Include in root cause analysis (RCA) and participation in Agile stand-up operations meetings. Monitor and maintain records of system performance for reconfiguration and anticipate requirements for system expansion; enable automation and performance tuning capabilities. Required Skills: A minimum of 5 years of experience with Informatica ClientM/BDQ product architecture and installing, configuring, and administering the product. Experience applying Hotfixes/EBFs to Informatica ClientM/BDQ platform. Experience in monitoring the stability of all environments including application performance and infrastructure utilization. Experience in maintaining healthy domain, repository, and OS file systems. Experience in building tight integration between Informatica and Hadoop platform. Knowledge in Hadoop components like HDFS, Hive, MR/Spark to understand and support workflows executed in pushdown mode. Experience with Kerberos configuration and integration to Informatica platform. Required Skills : We have a Remote opening for an Informatica Tools Systems Engineer who will be responsible for installing and upgrading Informatica Big Data Management (BDM), Big Data Quality (BDQ) tools in Linux environment and connect these tools to Hadoop. This individual is also responsible for addressing any operational issues as well as any issues reported by the Customer. Resource will act as the single point of contact for assigned tools.
