Job Description

Sr Full Stack Developer for AWS serverless (Lambda) application. This Work From Home (WFH) opportunity will (after Covid) have occasional Team meetings on-site to discuss new feature/process/sprint. The client is a highly respected global leader in measurement solutions (both hardware and software) for weather, environmental, and industrial applications. Headquartered in Vantaa, Finland, solutions are found in over 150 countries and even deployed on Mars.

  • Develop full-stack applications in an AWS, Serverless, Cloud environment
  • Create and configure REST API connectivity integrations
  • 5+ years software development/coding skills at the advanced (really strong) to expert level
  • Hands-on development in an AWS Serverless environment This input is presented as a 'must have' but if from an AWS native application development environment and 'know' the aspects of serverless then absolutely worth applying.
  • Expertise in Typescript; Javascript, and Node - experience with React - Angular would be well received.
  • Experience working with NoSQL databases (they use DynamoDB)
  • Strong understanding of CI/CD and best practices in the SDLC


Qualifications

A senior-level developer (or very clever upper-intermediate) with development experience in an AWS serverless environment.

  • Development of RESTful API's and microservices
  • Experience with a NoSQL database (they use AWS's DynamoDB)
  • Typescript, Javascript - and desire for Node, React, Angular (which if you have the first two - almost certainly have worked with some of the others)
  • Experienced with professional development practices - Scrum/Agile with TDD (Test Driven Development) and development for Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD)
