Job Description We are seeking a highly motivated and innovative Lead Test Engineer (REMOTE) to support the upcoming contract with MORPHEUS. The MORPHEUS Program is a $1.5B single award IDIQ program to research, develop and implement new and innovative test technologies for the Department of Defense (DOD). This position is CONTINGENT upon contract award, and the expected award date is in February 2022. Program Mission: The Under Secretary of Defense Research & Engineering, National Security Innovation Network (NSIN), supports the Services to understand the landscape of options available and de-risks those solutions through its suite of programs. NISIN is the sponsor of this procurement. NSIN works with a network of government, academia, and industry innovators to solve national security problems In partnership with GSA FEDSIM, NSIN is seeking to provide a scalable, comprehensive, project-based contract solution that addresses Test & Evaluation (T) services and capabilities to sponsoring organizations for rapid incorporation into operational technologies and missions. Job Description: The Lead Test Engineer for the Program is responsible for overseeing all areas related to testing and ensuring developed test technologies meet Service test data collection needs. Coordinating with customers and Task Leads to develop milestones for evaluating the efficacy of new test technologies and procedures Coordinate with customer and Task Leads to evaluate the efficacy of tailored existing test procedures Provide test authority based on existing military and international test standards Develop and participate on boards and councils to modernize, improve and develop new military and international test standards (as applicable) Communicating status, results, and recovery plans (if needed) to senior and executive management Developing and maintaining customer relationships Report to the Chief Engineer on TDL and TDP test and evaluation metrics and status Partner with Task Leads to ensure appropriate staffing of all Task Orders Approve MORPHEUS Test Plans Qualifications Required Qualifications: BS in Engineering Minimum 10+ years of experience Experience in the implementation of new and innovative test techniques and technologies Previous experience with Army, Navy, or Air Force test design, data collection, and data validation/verification Experience with Test and Evaluation Master Plan (TEMP) development, review, and verification Experience in a technical leadership role of a multi-disciplined engineering team Experience organizing and leading Integrated Test Process Teams and technical reviews Experience in preparing and delivering briefings to management and customers Experience in writing test reports Preferred: Master's degree in Engineering Experience in performing innovative research Experience in Microsoft Projects Experience developing and delivering courses of action and solutions to test requirements Clearance Level Required: Must obtain and maintain an ACTIVE TS/SCI Security Clearance #ANSdefense #MOIP #cjpost #LI-CF1
