They will contribute to the strategic vision for a campaign then map out the tasks required to implement that vision. Once all tasks are identified, they will strategically delegate or work with appropriate team members to gather assets required to successfully launch the campaign.They will create budgets, project timelines and ensure everyone keeps to the timeline so the campaigns launch successfully. The Marketing Project Manager is responsible for ensuring deadlines are met to turn the strategy into reality. The position works closely with other cross-functional departments like Sales, Operations and Business Development. The person in the role will thrive with the ability to establish rapport and lead through influence. Having a sense of urgency and the ability to multi-task will be inherent core competencies.Our ideal Marketing Project Manager has a hybrid of technical and soft skills. They work well in a virtual team environment, is capable of handling multiple projects at once, and adapts well to change and high-pressure deadlines. They must possess a high level of accuracy and attention to detail, a positive attitude, as well as stellar organizational and creative problem-solving skills.Responsibilities and DutiesWork with marketing team to create marketing strategy and map out tasks required to achieve the visionCreate and manage the content and promo calendars to ensure content is completed in a timely mannerCollaborate with writers and designers to create contentCreate marketing campaign budgets and timelines and ensure everyone adheres to the timeline and within budgetTest campaigns to see what works bestEnsure current and future MDU content is tested and published on timeImprove and streamline processesMaintain up-to-date understanding of the company, its products and client base to implement effective marketing campaignsManage and supervise projects from beginning to endDevelop and maintain strong vendor relationships as neededOther responsibilities and duties as assigned QualificationsBachelor's degree in Business, Management, Marketing or related fieldMinimum 2 years of marketing campaign experienceStrong organizational skills to keep projects on trackExpert level of project management theory and best practicesExperience in Scrum/Agile workflow is valuable but not requiredAbility to lead through influenceStrong strategic planning skillsExcellent analytical and decision-making skillsDemonstrated experience with a project management tool like MondayExcellent communication skills, both verbal and writtenStrong ability to multi-task and thrive in a fast-paced environmentExcellent interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively with cross-functional teamsSelf-motivated and takes initiative with little directionFamiliarity with various tools like Slack, Hubspot, Mailchimp, etcKnowledgeable about WISPEligibility to work in the United StatesBenefitsSail offers benefits including medical, dental, vision, life and 401k
