What you will do The Manager, Project Field Managers is accountable for providing strategic and operational leadership of the NA Retail Project Field Managers. The candidate must have demonstrated proven successes in the direct leadership of a team of Field Installation Experts responsible for the ensuring quality installations of Retail LP and II Solutions. This leadership position plays a key role in the NA Retail organization's ability to deliver business value by leveraging resources (People, Process and Technology) to benefit all of Sensormatic. As the Manager, this role will lead and champion the capability and maturity development of the team members, standardized processes, and templates needed for the effective management and reporting of quality installations for Solution Installation Projects as well as the organizational change management that is critical for the adoption, acceptance, and sustainability of these capabilities. The Manager is responsible for encouraging the professional growth and development of all direct team members, continuously elevating the team's performance through effective performance management. How you will do it Direct leadership of a team of Project Field Managers which includes recruiting and staffing, performance management, professional development, and corrective action with full team budgetary responsibility. Define criteria for interviewing, rating, and hiring superior talent with the knowledge and skills required for Project Field Manager positions Work with each individual to identify strengths and weaknesses in knowledge and skills required for effective and successful Project Field Management and create/manage development plans with measurable growth indicators Identify training opportunities for knowledge and skills development that directly align with and support the job and performance expectations of the team members. Perform root cause analysis when performance metrics indicate a PFM performance issue and define/execute improvement plans Mentors organizational team members on best-practice Project Field Management as per the Solution Installation Project standards to enable professional capability growth in planning, designing, installation, and transitioning to service in a responsive and cost-effective manner. Manages the resource capacity and assignments of Project Field Managers to ensure alignment with the overall prioritized portfolio of project demand managed by the NA PMO. Develops and uses dashboard reporting with regard to resource capacity/allocation, resource leveling, utilization forecasts, and performance. Track and proactively communicate monthly performance metrics across all managed projects Process Champions the development, deployment, and sustainability of the organization's Solution Installation Life Cycle methodology, processes, and associated tools and templates. Champions and ensures adherence to the organization's defined Project Management Process including the Project Management Life Cycle (PMLC) and Solution Installation Life Cycle (SILC) for the respective class of the initiative including formal Stage Gates, project-specific steering committees, and metrics-driven management for all projects/programs within the portfolio of projects resulting in improved timely on-budget project delivery. Lead the identification, design, and incorporation of Project Field Management process improvements and work to gain consensus form stakeholders Identifies, develops, and deploys continuous improvements of processes, based on metrics and feedback from internal and external project stakeholders; establishes communication plans and roll out strategies for implementation. Actively call out and remove barriers to ensure project success as needed What you will do Bachelor's degree in engineering or manufacturing or related field; or equivalent experience. 15 years of installation and/or field operations experience, to include at least 5 years of installation management experience. Five (5) years of direct people leadership of a team of at least 8 direct reports. Excellent people leadership and management skills. Laser focus on direct team member performance management with proven ability to provide leadership, mentorship, constructive feedback, and disciplinary actions to team members. Excellent interpersonal skills to be persuasive and/or assertive when necessary. Excellent analytical / problem solving skills. Strong presentation skills to varying audience groups and levels Sensitivity to the other person's point of view; to influence behavior or turn a situation around. Overall general company knowledge of products and services.
