The Agile Software Developer will execute true end-to-end development and testing of software products in an agile lifecycle. Partnering with key technical and business stakeholders, the agile developer will help refine the product vision, estimate and design a solution, create, purchase, or customize the requisite hardware and software to create the solution, ensure the quality of the final product through manual and automated tests, and support the new software as it is moved to production. This position will be in support the CDO business line to create innovative solutions to improve day to day efficiencies.

Essential Responsibilities:

- Responsible for designing, developing, testing, operating and maintaining products.
- Takes full stack ownership by consistently writing production-ready and testable code.
- Consistently creates optimal design adhering to architectural best practices; considers scalability, reliability and performance of systems/contexts affected when defining technical designs.
- Makes sound design/coding decisions keeping customer experience in the forefront.
- Takes feedback from code review and apply changes to meet standards. Conducts code reviews to provide guidance on engineering best practices and compliance with development procedures.
- Accountable for ensuring all aspects of product development follow compliance and security best practices.
- Exhibits relentless focus in software reliability engineering standards embedded into development standards.
- Embraces emerging technology opportunities and contributes to the best practices in support of the bank's technology transformation.
- Contributes to a culture of innovation, collaboration and continuous improvement.
- Reviews tasks critically and ensures they are appropriately prioritized and sized for incremental delivery. Anticipates and communicates blockers and delays before they require escalation.

Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree, or equivalent work experience
- Three to five years of relevant experience

Preferred Skills/Experience

- Strong development coding skills in MS .NET, C#, Office Suite and VBA

- Experience in developing using IDE MS Visual Studio

- Strong T-SQL development experience in MS SQL Server including development of stored procedures, functions, etc.

- Experience with including code repository systems such as TFVC , GIT and branching

- Functional Testing experience, including ability to create, maintain and execute both manual and automated tests

- Experience in developing in Agile Team Software Development like Scrum, Kanban, etc.

- WebFOCUS development experience a plus, including FEX file development

- Microsoft Classic ASP development experience a plus

- DevOps experience including CI/CD, Azure, Jenkins and Urban Code Deploy is a plus

- Cloud experience including containers, microservices, automation, security and configuration management a plus

- Experienced in developing unit tests automation using CI/CD pipeline using tools like Nunit, Microsoft unit-testing frameworks

- Knowledge in modeling and application design and architecture

- Knowledge in IT/Software quality assurance

- Candidate should be self-directed and can solve business problems from inception to implementation

- Basic understanding of system and network architecture

- Ability to identify, resolve, and retest defects 

- Ability to analyze features to deliver solutions that meet business needs

- Ability to follow policy requirements related to documentation and other processes

- Strong attention to detail
