About the role:

The Business Operations Team is the connective tissue for Oscar’s Insurance organization; responsible for driving operational excellence and measuring and executing to reduce operational, financial, compliance and regulatory risks. The Regional Manager is responsible for partnering with our Legal, Regulatory and Government Affairs teams to understand new legislation and policy at both the national and state level and then working with our business partners to identify the implications and operationalize processes to ensure operational integrity. 

You will report into the Senior Director of the Project Management Office. This is an, East Coast, remote / work-from-home role. You must reside in one of the following states: Connecticut, Florida, Georgia,, Maryland, Massachusetts, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, Virginia. Note, this list of states is subject to change.

Responsibilities:

  • Partner with Legal, Regulatory and Government Affairs teams to roll out new changes in legislation or policy to the Insurance organization and ensure operational processes are implemented to meet compliance needs.
  • Optimize processes between partners to ensure operational excellence 
  • Partner with our strategy and plan design teams and provide guidance on market entry requirements 
  • Regional account management for State Based Exchanges
  • Liaison to our P&L teams as the voice of the market and ensure operations are implemented in a compliant manner.
  • Oversees of the provider manual process
  • Responsible for coaching and development of direct reports and team outcomes
  • Requirements:

  • 5+ years of operational health insurance experience 
  • 2+ years experience managing direct reports
  • Proven experience in regulatory compliance
  • Proven stakeholder management experience
  • Bonus points:

  • PMP or Six Sigma Certified
