Savings delivery & Profit Margin contribution:**+ Is Accountable for the development and execution of North America indirect savings budget annually to enhance corporate margin.+ Develop a savings project pipeline and execute accordingly.+ Drive make vs. buy (insourcing-outsourcing) analysis and recommendation phase to meet AGCO corporate objectives.+ Work with Global Strategic Commodity Managers to develop RFx and negotiate best in the class price, payment terms, quality levels, delivery terms, and Service Level Agreements for purchased products and services in compliance with AGCO corporate objectives.+ Lead and support on-site supplier assessment/ certification audits as needed.+ Facilitate and execute supplier cost modeling, supplier opportunity assessments, supplier financial analysis, long-term contract establishment with a focus on continued quality and productivity improvement that lead to cost reduction and warranty agreement.+ Drive Supplier-Based Optimization strategy development and execution.+ Acquire and maintain solid and current knowledge of commodity trends, including new technology and manufacturing process, industry trends, commodity cost drivers, global pricing, material lead times.+ Develop and drive acceptance of preferred suppliers with corporate commodity managers, and coordinate annual supplier business reviews including performance reviews and roadmap.+ Work with engineering to support testing and approval of cost reduction initiatives driven by commodity managers and other initiatives.+ Facilitate and drive continuous improvement and Supplier Idea Generation events internal and external to AGCO.+ Is accountable for meeting or exceeding internal stakeholders' expectations.**2. Transactional purchasing Optimization:**+ Lead the NA Operational Excellence Manager in enhancing policies/processes, and driving compliance/automation/efficiency of the P2P (Purchase To Pay) tool via technology improvements.+ Ensure continuous exchange and optimization of collaboration between Site Buyers and Operational Excellence Manager.**3. Contingent Labor Program Management:**+ Support the Global Contingent Labor Program Manager in assessing and improving the North America Contingent labor program in line with the global strategy (non-AGCO workers, Freelancers, Outsourced workforce, also ensuring items that are Statement of Work are managed correctly and escalated to the Global Manager).+ Build strong internal relationships with key HR and business leaders to secure quality contingent labor talent while delivering savings. Partner with colleagues in HR, Legal, IT, Finance, and Compliance to ensure AGCO is able to leverage contingent workers as part of their broader resource strategies in a streamlined and efficient manner while maintaining appropriate risk review, oversight, and compliance.+ Manage the relationship with the Managed Service Provider (MSP) and the Vendor Management System (VMS) to drive supplier performance on key KPIs.+ Ensure that all programs, projects, and strategic initiatives, and deliverables and are aligned with corporate objectives and the global program.+ Key contact for managing the MSP and adhering to a single global process for the North American region.+ Align and consolidate contingent workforce processes across businesses and functions.+ Ensure compliance and look to improve the processes for on-boarding, extending, and terminating contingent workers.+ Act as a North America Subject Matter Expert in contingent workforce management processes and practices.+ Be able to manage exceptions and resistance to processes.+ Act as a company administrator for the VMS.+ Engage with office managers and vendor account managers to ensure contingent workforce processes are followed.+ Where appropriate support and escalate vendors and individuals in instances where there are contractual queries relating to contingent workforce processes.+ Liaise with MSP to ensure cascade of training modules to contingent workers.+ Track key performance indicators for the contingent workforce, report these on a monthly basis to teams as required.+ Ensure MSP is managing the data quality for data held on contingent workers.+ Develop a continuous improvement plan to enhance the contingent worker experience for colleagues and workers.+ Be able to work in a highly matrixed and distributed team.+ Manage cost center accuracy and approval workflow within the VMS.+ Manage the single North America Purchase Order within Purchase-To-Pay platform, also manage billing queries and issues with the MSP and vendors.+ On occasion, support the global program outside of North America, including but not limited to, covering administrative tasks in the absence of other team members.+ Actively support and engage in North America vendor contract renewals with the global manager and MSP. **POSITION QUALIFICATIONS / REQUIREMENTS**+ Must possess a four-year degree in business or related field.+ Must have excellent skills and knowledge in communication/ project management/ financial/ analytical/ manufacturing.+ Must have at least seven to ten years of experience in purchasing with in-depth knowledge of Continuous Improvement processes, preferably with an OEM or tier 1 supplier environment.+ Indirect purchasing experience preferred.+ Experience managing a team preferred.+ Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office suite software including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and MS Project.+ Multi-tasking skill is essential.+ Effective communicator with strong interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate with a diverse internal team, executive leadership, and suppliers.
