The Public Relations Manager is responsible for supporting and executing public relations, communications and marketing strategies that support Amobee’s mission and vision to be the global leader in converged advertising technology. The primary purpose of this role is to enable the output of the public relations and marketing team, offering support to management and expertise in one or more key functional areas of public relations and/or communications: media relations, public relations, events, social media and marketing. This role requires a passion and extensive experience in writing and content development to support company-wide communications both internally and externally.

Responsibilities

  • Write and develop press releases, website content, blog posts, social media content, thought leadership material and corporate communications.
  • Support the planning process, provide research and assist with activation of regional Amobee events, and provide support for global events when required.
  • Conduct market research that will inform the strategic go-to-market planning and implementation of PR and marketing plans.
  • Manage company awards programs and submissions.
  • Manage company social media platforms (develop content, editorial calendar, interpret analytics).
  • Manage submissions for company thought leadership and speaking opportunities. 
  • Manage company cultural initiatives and Employee Spotlight programs in conjunction with HR. 
  • Seek out and manage opportunities related paid and earned media activities to increase Amobee’s visibility and differentiation in the market.
  • Manage public relations files, contacts and company intranet content.
  • Build effective relationships with internal stakeholders.
  • Engage and assist with managing relationships with (partners, sponsors, organizing committees, and prospective supporters) by developing formal and informal communications.
  • Collaborate with management to achieve specific communication goals, objectives and evaluation methods to determine program success.
  • Compile quarterly and annual reporting for submission to the parent company.
  • Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree with an emphasis in journalism, communication, public relations or marketing.
  • 3+ years of relevant experience; ideally working with a PR agency or internal PR department.
  • Intermediate level Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook).
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills – AP Style preferred.
  • Experience in developing thought leadership byline articles and presentations.
  • Demonstrated creative ability with regard to writing along with strong editing skills.
  • Requires highly developed interpersonal skills to effectively work with executives and public stakeholders (confident and poised).
  • Knowledge of current trends and techniques in marketing, public relations, media relations, advertising and social media.
  • Experience in managing corporate social media accounts and executing paid social media advertising.
  • Skilled in managing multiple projects for delivery in a timely manner and within the fiscal budget.
  • Exhibit professionalism at all times.
  • Strong work ethic, integrity and high level of confidentiality to ensure proper handling of sensitive information.
  • Self-motivated and have the ability to multitask.
  • Be able to work quickly under pressure in a fast paced, high volume of activity and a deadline driven environment.
  • Organizational skills that enable work efficiency on an individual and team basis.
  • Passionate about public relations, marketing and technology.
  • Available to work overtime and weekends if needed.
  • Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience using WordPress for Website content management
  • Experience using social media analytics tools like HubSpot and Hootsuite
  • Understanding of advertising technology
