Your Responsibilities

Make a difference by helping people get better and stay better! Our Sales Specialists play a critical role in informing members of the benefits offered within the Behavioral Health Programs and assisting them with signing up for high quality/effective care. The Sales Specialist's call and conversation with members can be the catalyst that encourages members to seek care, improve mental health and continue their journey to overall better health.

  • Utilize phone, scheduling and CRM tools to manage call results data and initial consultation scheduling to ensure the highest quality customer service within every interaction
  • Proactively engage health plan members in a discussion about the program benefits and how the program will help them
  • Schedule initial consultations for members that result in a meaningful and high-quality behavioral health care experience
  • Leverage established conversation guides to engage, connect and educate health plan members
  • Respond to health plan member questions or objections and ensure timely follow-up in responding to member requests
  • Escalate interactions when necessary and appropriate
  • Respond to requests for assistance and/or possible processing payments
  • Track all call related information for auditing and reporting purposes
  • Provide feedback on call issues
  • Meet sales objectives as defined


Qualifications

What We're Looking for

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • 18 years of age or older
  • 1-2 years work experience in a call center/customer service or direct sales position
  • Healthcare industry experience preferred
  • 1 year sales experience minimum
  • Proven sales results with selling skills
  • Ability to display superior rapport building
  • Ability to respond with empathy and sincerity
  • Typing 25 WPM
  • Be proficient in PC operation and navigation
  • Able to work independently
  • Have excellent communications skills, both oral and written
  • Ability to work in a constantly changing, high energy and fast paced environment
  • Ability to stay composed and objective
  • Strong listening skills
  • Self-motivated team player with ability to multi task
  • Superior negotiating skills
