A Salesforce end user in the Higher Education space is looking for a Salesforce Product Manager to join a rapidly expanding and robust team of Salesforce professionals. The ideal candidate has hands on experience working as a Salesforce Business Analyst or Salesforce Product position (Manager / Owner). This person should also have experience rapidly scaling organizations and thrives in a fast-paced, start-up environment. Job Requirements:
- Experience as a Salesforce Product Manager / Owner, or Business Systems Analyst
- Manage scope of departmental projects, including budget, timeline, and triaging of team responsibilities
- Proficient with SFDC declarative tools (process builder / workflow)
- High business acumen with the ability to fully understand end-user requirements and translate to technical requirements
- Lead department specific Sprints and accurately direct cross-functional team members
- Proficient with Salesforce Experience [fka Communities] Cloud in a B2C capacity
- Experience with full discovery process, including requirements, user stories, backlogs, prototypes, and C-Suite communications
- Comfortable owning Salesforce Experience Cloud (B2C) domain (roadmap, recruiting)
- Comfortable working within a robust team of Salesforce experts and reporting into the Director level
Basic Qualifications:
- Certifications listed below are in order of relevance. These are preferred but not required - hands-on experience is also heavily considered
- Salesforce Certified Administrator (SCA), Salesforce Certified Advanced Administrator (SCAA)
- Salesforce Certified Community Cloud Consultant
- Project Management Professional (PMP), Certified Agile Practitioner, Certified Scrum Master (CSM)
- Bachelor's (B.S.) Degree or equivalent experience, ideally in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or related fields
Essential Functions:
- Act as a key point of contact for Salesforce updates and refactoring of Experience Cloud (B2C)
- Direct a robust team but be able to work independently
- Be comfortable working through pain points of end users and providing user support
- Be comfortable interfacing cross functionally with various business unit leaders
- Question around and work to identify areas of improvement for given technical requirements
- Confidently act as a key resource for your team and lead by example with Salesforce best practices
- Stay current on new features of application to ensure company is utilizing the application as effectively as possible
